Filipino hip hop collectives Bawal Clan and Owfuck share the grimy visual for “Pating Sa Kadiliman” (Shark In The Dark), the latest single off their 2020 collaborative project, Ligtas (Safe).
The Ken Yamaguchi-helmed video shows Bawal Clan’s Rjay Ty, DZ SVG, and Mic Rahman, as well as Owfuck’s Lexus, Paul Cassimir, and Astro roaming around the streets of Manila at night.
The track tackles how making it to the top of the rap game is akin to moving up the food chain, where being a “shark” is sometimes necessary, especially in rap’s highly competitive nature. But more importantly, it’s how one survives.

Bawal Clan And Owfuck Share Grisly Visuals For ‘LaPain’
Bawal Clan’s Lex Luthoor, Ankhten Brown, and OJ River all have released solo music this year. Their last standalone single was 2020’s joint video for “WUTS RLY GUD/PALUMPALO.” Owfuck’s Astro has also dropped his solo project earlier this year.
