Bawal Clan and Owfuck just released their first music video of the year with “LaPain,” a track off their 2020 collaborative album, Ligtas.
The Gian Mawo-helmed visuals feature members from both Filipino hip hop collectives as they surround caged and trapped humans soaked in blood, disoriented and afraid. Styled as “LaPain,” the title both connotes pain and the Tagalog word for “to maul or slaughter.”
The track features Bawal Clan’s OJ River, Nuevo, and DZ SVG, as well as Owfuck’s Astro, Lexus, and Paul Cassimir.

“LaPain” serves as the first music video from Ligtas, following lyric videos for “Heist,” Ligaw,” “Pating sa Kadiliman,” and the title track.
