ØZI shares the music video for “LUFU,” his lead single off his newly released PEDESTAL album.

Self-directed with collaborator kvn, the Taiwanese-American rapper-singer is seen drinking poolside as he goes underwater. “[It’s] about being hopelessly in love with what hurts us the most, trying to make the most out of a toxic world,” ØZI shares about his latest R&B slowburn track.

The video also featured guests, The Voice Korea winner G Soul and Kehlani collaborator Arin Ray. On working with the two, ØZI said: “[We] brought the sound of each of our cities together from LA, Seoul, and Taipei for something any city could feel.”

He has previously shared music videos for “Slide” and “LAVA” from PEDESTAL. The 8-track album is also his first release under his newly founded label, Forbidden Paradise, out of Taipei.
