G-DEVITH gets candid about his success in his latest track, “ជំហានជ័យ ( Life Tale ).”
The Cambodian rapper claims that his success can be used as an “illustration for the new generation” and being able to satisfy his desires even before he hit his 30s, invoking that hard work pays off when you “set your goal, baby / you better move.”
He also refers to his cautious attitude as a result of betrayal in the past (“Some has loyalty / Some just want to tag along), with some as a result of his own mistakes.

The trap-inflected track is his first of the year, following last month’s “បងប្រាប់ថាកុំៗៗៗ Don’t Just Don’t.”
G-DEVITH had an eventful 2022, releasing the third installment to his PASSION album series, which chronicles the “life he used to have that’s full of betrayal and ignorance, before his rise [to] fame.”
In other news, he’s set to perform on February 4 at the PASSION2THESKY concert in Phnom Penh.
