The best part of being at the porn convention is watching the fans go nuts over their favorite stars. This is probably the closest anyone will get to having sex with somebody on those multiple porn files they’ve downloaded on your computer. Stop fronting…you know who you are.

Some may assume that porn stars are inarticulate, snobby, narrow-minded individuals but the truth is the absolute contrary. Sure there are those who are dumb as a brick, but some of them were quite articulate and very welcoming to their fans. Dare I say that they treat their fans better than most Hip Hop artists? Each porn star spent hours and hours posing with fans to create the closest thing to a fantasy. Honestly, they were so pleasant that it’s going to be kind of difficult seeing them in action again.
Well… not that difficult considering that after they speak to you they go back to doing this…
Then you had legends of the porn industry like Larry Flint, Nina Hartley, Randy West, Randy Spears, Julian St Jox and various others making appearances. I’ve always wondered if this gets old for them but what can get old about sex???

Fans also got to be a little interactive with their favorite stars. There were blackjack tables set up so fans could get their hustle on while eyeballing some sexy ladies. Some booths had little games where convention goers could win DVDs and such. Just a little something for everyone.
And it wasn’t just Man vs Woman porn. Of course you had gay porn (we steered clear from that area), transsexual porn (yes…chicks with dicks) and this kind of porn…
I don’t honestly know what kind of porn you call that but they can keep it.

While many think that porn is a man’s sport, the number of women that showed up was eyebrow raising to say the least. We’re not talking about simply lesbian women or women who “look” like nasty heathens. We’re talking beautiful women that watch porn.

Apparently for some it’s hard to believe but yes, your girl – who you thought was as pure as the Virgin Mary – has seen her fair share of Ron Jeremy and Mr. Marcus in action. Even more interesting was the number of couples that came to the convention. Why front like both of you don’t like porn right? Men brought their women and women brought their men to have a little fun checking out the various porn stars that were scattered throughout.
Simply put, just about everyone is a “fan” of porn. Whether you are Joe Blow from around the way or DJ Premier, the porn industry maintains fans from all walks of life.

AVN Awards
“Porn Stars are Actors and Actresses too!”

Ah…the convention is finally coming to a close with the extravaganza known as the AVN Awards show that gives award to such wonderful talents as taking it in the rear and best interracial sex scene.
The AVN Awards show, also known as “the Oscars of the Porn World,” turned 25 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas. I guess it makes sense to reward those “hard” working stars and starlets in the industry right? Seriously, where else can you find awards being given for “Best Oral Sex Scene Video?” Is there another place where films with titles such as Jada Fire is Squirtwoman, Gangbang My Face 2 (yes, there was a part one) and Swallow My Children can battle it out for some type of award?

Hell, a film like this can get nominated for an award…
It’s a beautiful thing that deserves to be recognized no matter how much one is ashamed to admit to that he or she streams zSHARE videos of Tera Patrick during downtime at work.

The red carpet featured some of the biggest fake hooters ever stuffed into dresses while a few risqué numbers left little to the imagination. Despite the sometimes-controversial industry, it really felt like a legitimate awards show.
Comedian Greg Fitzsimmons did a hell of a job keeping the crowd in tears with his poignant humor and filthy mind as his co-host Tera Patrick provided a nice bit of eye candy to offset looking at Fitzsimmons’ short ass all damn night.
Although there were — by our count — roughly 32,797,324 different categories of awards given out and a performance of “Porn Girls Rock” by gay and lesbian porn director Chi Chi Larue that went on 20 minutes too long, this year’s AVN Awards show might have proved that porn is finally mainstream, for better or worse.

There were multiple highlights during the awards presentations, but a few stood out. The scene of Stormy Daniels nearly tearing up for “Best Sex Comedy?” Priceless. Even more priceless? Jenna Jameson getting booed by her upset fans for stating that she will “never be spreading her legs on film ever again.”
Seriously though kids, with Jenna Jameson looking like this…
I applaud her for stepping down.

Wait…the line that takes the cake: “I can’t believe that I’m crying,”Sasha Grey said when she won “Female Performer of the Year.” “I only f–king cry when I’m being electrocuted.”

After a few exhausting days of looking at tits and ass, the porn convention has sadly come to a close. It was hard work kids…seriously. Sure, we enjoyed ourselves a little more than being at any other Hip Hop sword fight where the male presence far outweigh the presence of females. It felt good to be accepted in this taboo world and even better to see the appreciation the porn world has for HipHopDX for shedding some light on the dirty little secret everyone has but nobody ever talks about.
