HIPHOPDX Redveil

Washington, D.C.’s own Redveil is a rapper, songwriter, and record producer whose talents made him one of the rap game's rising stars. As a gifted musician and writer, Redveil was influenced by the funk and soul music that he grew up listening to in his household. At age 11, Morton heard "Palace/Curse'' by The Internet and Tyler, The Creator which made him want to pursue music. Shortly thereafter, Redveil learned how to produce music with FL Studio. Inspired by New York Drill Music, in a short time, Redveil has been a prolific artist releasing several projects including Bittersweet Cry, Niagara, and Learn 2 Swim, which was entirely self-produced. With his low-key style and addressing topics such as anxiety in his music, Redveil is set to be a key figure in alternative Hip Hop as his musical dexterity continues to evolve.
