“The Blueprint,” Jigga’s album that is set to drop on September 18th is said to be an incredibly introspective and personal album from the proclaimed King of New York. While Roc-A-Fella isn’t saying too much about the album there are certain callaboes that have been confirmed. Biz Markie, Slick Rick and Q-Tip all appear on a track together, it has also been reported that Michael Jackson does indeed make an appearance.
The latest word is that Jay had a low-profile late night recording session with none other than Eminem. The song “Renegades” is directed at the criticizing media and is produced by Slim. Other confirmed producers are Just Blaze, Kayne West and Trackmasters; we can only assume that Primo and Timbaland will do their requisite beats as well. The album will include a Prodigy dis cut called “We Run This (Fuck Prodigy). This album is said to be his most personal work since his classic debut LP, “Reasonable Doubt.”
