HHDX News Bits Part Deux (The Lox, will.i.am, Xzibit + Arnold Schwarzenegger?)

    The Lox ReUnite

    This past Sunday, Lox
    frontman, Jadakiss called into Hot97
and revealed to DJ Envy that fans
can expect not only a new solo album but a new Lox album later this year.

    “I’m trying to drop
The Lox album first, anytime between may and June … then I’ll come right behind
that one with an album if it goes well. If not, I’ll have to come first then
    put The Lox after that,”
    Jada told
    Envy.

    “It’s been like
six years since we dropped an album. It was like an experience we were just
waiting to do again. Making the music is fun, it’s different than doing a solo
project cause its all three of us. It’s easy, its fun and it’s just interesting
to see how the songs come out after all these years,”
    Kiss said.

The Lox, (consisting of Jadakiss, Syles P and Sheek Louch) have not released an album together since 2000’s We Are the Streets.

    Will.I.Am Preps Solo
    Album

    Super producer and Black
    Eyed Peas
    member, will.i.am, sets
eyes on summer release for his solo album, entitled Songs About Girls.

A concept album about a DJ and the women in his life, Songs About Girls will experiment with a
wide range of genres and will NOT include any guest spots (even from his group BEP).

    “I don’t think I would
be doing myself justice if I went in on my solo project and got a whole lot of
other people to dilute the concept I have in my head.”

    Xzibit and Governor
    Schwarzenegger

This April 22nd (Earth Day), California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger will make a
guest appearance on MTV’s Pimp My Ride.

The team at West Coast Custom’s will “pimp out” a ’65 Chevy
Impala with ecological alterations (see: 800 HP diesel engine that runs off
    biodiesel).

    “I would like to thank
MTV and the entire Pimp My Ride crew for shining the spotlight on the
importance of alternative fuels and the fight against global warning,”
    Arnold said.
