Mike Jones’ Manager Claims Police Assaulted Him

Terrance Flowers, who manages platinum artist Mike Jones, recently filed an incident report with the Jersey Village Police Department after claiming two police officers assaulted him.

Virgil Thomas and Mark Zatzkin, the officers in question, allegedly answered a call at Flowers’ girlfriends’ apartment while the two were arguing outside around 7 p.m.

Flowers claimed that Thomas and Zatzkin told him to drop to his knees and forced him on the ground. “They just jumped out of their cars and pulled their pistols,” said Flowers, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Flowers said that Zatzkin, who is white, handcuffed him while Thomas, who is black, put his foot on the back of his head. He said that the officers proceeded to throw him into a patrol car for 20 to 30 minutes and that one of the officers pushed an on-off button on the camera inside the vehicle.

Flowers filed a complaint, though as of now neither oficer has been disciplined. His girlfriend, Latisha Pruhomme, said that Flowers “has never posed a threat to me.”

“I was like, ‘damn,’ “ she said. “Here it is something small turned
into something big. They didn’t have to handle him like that. They blew
    it out of proportion.”
