Mia X Returns With 2010 Album, Betty Rocka Locksmith

    A core member of the ’90s No Limit Army, Mia X has toyed with a comeback before. In 2006, the Louisiana native released “Verbal Assault,” a reunion with Beats By The Pound producer XL, as well as two featured tracks on C-Murder‘s Screamin’ 4 Vengeance, released last year.

    This week it was announced that Mia X will release a full-length album, the first since 1998’s Mama Drama. February 2010 will see Betty Rocka Locksmith, X‘s fourth album. Previously, the rapper had sold over 500,000 units of her 1997 album, Unlady Like.

    Via press release, the rapper explained her decade-plus album hiatus on the unexpected deaths of her father and mother, as well as assisting her youngest sister recently graduate medical school.
