Today, through his LupeFiasco.com website, Chicago emcee Lupe Fiasco announced that in conjunction with his forthcoming album, he is going on a world tour.
Although Lu said that dates and venues will be released soon, the rapper revealed that he will begin doing dates in Australia and New Zealand this month, before returning to the United States for various March dates.
The tour gets its name from the spring album Lasers, coming on 1st & 15th/Atlantic Records.
The album features the single “I’m Beaming”

what happen to his partner in rhyme Gemstones, he suppose to have an album out a year an a half ago. From all his mixtapes it seem his album would have been dope. Hiphopdx get on that for me.
Gemstones retired from rap because of his religon. After six months or so I saw an interview where he announced he would return to rap and a mixtape should be out sometime in the spring of 2010. The content of his music has changed and he still plans on dropping his album Troubles of the World. He is still signed to 1st and 15th but it didnt sound like he really he wanted to remain on the label.
