Kanye West is just one of many artists with whom 50 Cent has had some sort of beef in the past. As such, it was surprising to hear the Queens emcee reveal that he may record with his onetime adversary.
“I sat with Swizz [Beatz]; I’mma try to get in with him,” said 50 to MTV News about his next album. “Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.”
50 didn’t elaborate on the possible collaboration with West, who was his opponent in a much-publicized sales battle in 2007. Kanye came out ahead in the contest, selling 957,000 copies of Graduation to 50 Cent’s 691,000 copies of Curtis.
Currently, there is no release date slated for 50’s next project.

Really, I don’t think it would matter. 50’s career has slowly and consistently gone cold.
50’s biggest mistake was not staying consistent with what made him a megastar. Making fun of Ja Rule, and then singing in the hook like him. Changing his image from a rugged street cat to a savvy business man.
Jay-Z was successful in that transition because he has more charisma. 50 doesn’t possess that charm Hov carries.
What I liked about 50 was his ability to tell a raw story without any remorse. The feeling of genuine attitude I got from his records.
Which I don’t feel from his music anymore..
or his lyrics or his ability to make himself be competetive or being able to be relevant without using other relevant artists to do it..
