Pill Denies That He Was Dropped From Maybach Music Group

Rumors have been swirling that Pill was no longer part of Maybach Much Group, but the Southern rapper assures that the rumors are just that. During an interview with The BoomBox, Pill said that he’s still a part of MMG and that people have simply drawn their own conclusions.

“I’m not sure how they started actually,” he said. “I noticed it when people started f—ing with me on Twitter, but I don’t know the source of it. I mean, it is what it is. It’s mostly Twitter — people that follow me or don’t follow me that hate on me daily, and wanna start s—.”

In fact, Pill is currently recording cuts for MMG’s compilation album Self Made Vol. 2, and that there is no release date set for the project.

“Everybody pretty much spread out right now, and we’re sparsely working on it, but there’s no set date for the release,” he said. “Everybody’s pretty much doing what they’re doing and trying to grind it out with different tracks as we go along. We’ve all recorded tracks already that we’ve compiled to submit for the actual LP but you know, I can’t even really say what percentage of it is done. I recorded a lot of tracks. Wale, Meek, Ross recorded a lot of tracks and we’re all just waiting on that day when we all can just sit and go through it.”

    1. Dropped or still signed either way it don’t matter, you notice you ain’t hearing about no solo debut album being scheduled. Dude is a back bencher at best.

    2. officer william would never drop an artist he has to much to loose

i just wish pill would be brave enough to leave so real niggas can start fucking with him again

    3. I’ve been a big Pill fan since 4075, but I’ll be the first to say he’s fallen off dramatically since joining MMG. Here’s to The Epidemic being a comeback effort.

      1. how can you say he’s fallen off when he’s only released a mixtape and a few verses on self made vol 1 since he’s signed?

      2. @Anonymous

Because people in hip-hop nowadays don’t even know what fall off even means. They think fall off means when you’re not in their face everyday (TV, radio, award shows etc) but to say someone has fallen off means that their music has consistantly starting to sound garbage.

    4. CO distribute weight in the prison idiots! Pill was rumored to have his on album released in 2012. His latest mixtape was a MMG release. Ya’ll dumb!

    5. k first ur stupid enough to liten to ross now ur stupid enough to think he brought drugs to work and sold em to pll who r there for drugs
