Big Sean Says The G.O.O.D. Music Album Is “Almost Finished”

The G.O.O.D. Music family is close to completing its compilation album. During an interview with MTV News, Big Sean revealed that the project is “almost done” and that the crew is headed to London, England to finish the project.

“So, me, Kanye, Cudi, CyHi, John Legend, Common, Pusha T, everybody on G.O.O.D., Mr Hudson: We’re all working on a new project; it’s almost done,” he said. “We’re going to London to finish it up and do the last part of it and working on my album at the same time with ‘Ye and everybody.”

Sean says that the G.O.O.D. Music album will most likely drop in the spring, keeping in line with Kanye West’s announcement of the project. Additionally, Sean hopes to release the follow-up to this year’s Finally Famous: The Album in summer 2012.

    4. I didn’t care much for the label what with Mos Def gone but I’m fuckin with Cudi and Common so I’ll def check it out

      1. If you really don’t know why Cons isn’t on this, you haven’t been alive for the past few months.

I haven’t heard anything from Really Doe since his CD dropped. They probably realized that he wasn’t marketable at ALL and let him go (even though I kinda dug his album).

GLC is still a mystery to me because as far as I know he was still working on that album that will never get released and he got a cameo on Cudi’s album last year, plus I hadn’t heard of any falling outs between him and ‘Ye but, similarly to Really Doe, he’s not very marketable.

      2. CLARIFY: “that album that will never get released” is pertaining to his next solo album, the one that they released “Big Screen” for like, 3 years ago.

    5. ****KNOW YOUR HIP HOP HISTORY*****
Question: Who was the 1st west coast artist that Russell Simmons signed to Def Jam?
      Answer: Mel-low (Compton, CA)
Here’s a Def Jam classic music video.
Mel-low feat Redman “Blaze It Up”
This was the very first Def Jam video to be banned from playing on BET and MTV.

    6. i really think this GOOD music album is goib to be dope as fuck but not alot of people r going to give a shit cuz alot of em r way too much on ymcmb’s dick! WTT was prolly 1 of the best albums of all time and c4 sold more alot more in its 1st week but it wasnt that good so just shows that just cuz u make amazing music dosent mean itll sell and that if ur album is have ass like c4 it could sell alot which is bullshit

      1. Co-sign Anonymous, and that’s coming from a Kanye Stan. But you’re right about the argument with C4 being weak despite its sales.
