Kanye West isn’t letting Kim Kardashian go that easily. The estranged couple, who wed in 2014 and share four children together, have been ironing out the details of their divorce since Kardashian filed in February 2021. But over the last year, Ye has made several public pleas for her return, as recently as Tuesday (February 8) when he begged God for their reunion.
But Kardashian has been entangled in a blossoming romance with Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson since initially meeting last October. In fact, Davidson referred to the Keeping Up With Kardashians star as his “girlfriend” for the first time while speaking to People magazine earlier this week. Despite the new relationship, Kanye West is still intent on letting Davidson know how much he disapproves.

On the new Fivio Foreign single “City Of Gods” featuring Kanye and Alicia Keys, Ye appears to take another swipe at Davidson with the line, “This afternoon, a hundred goons pullin’ up to SNL (What?)/When I pull up, it’s dead on arrival/They act like they love me, they don’t even like me.”
He also mentions Kardashian with, “And if I let ’em have my wife/ n-ggs should thank me/With this Balenciaga and Balenci’ boots and a new blue Yankee,” while encouraging any other artists with an upcoming album not to compete with the DONDA 2 release date.
According to TMZ, a source close to the comedian suggested Davidson isn’t worried about Kanye’s alleged lyrical disses, saying, “Pete is focusing on his relationship with Kim and making sure she feels supported, the rest is just noise.”
Kanye West first dissed Davidson last month on The Game-assisted single “Eazy.” Rumors the single came with jab at the 28-year-old started circulating on Twitter hours before the song dropped and fans weren’t disappointed.
“Boujee and unruly, y’all need to do some chores,” Ye raps. “Rich ass kids, this ain’t yo mama’s house/Climb on your brother’s shoulders, get that top ramen out/God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass (Who?)/And my new bitch bad, I know Illuminati mad.”
The track debuted at No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning Game his highest-charting song in almost 15 years. His last single to chart higher was 2008’s “My Life” featuring Lil Wayne from the LAX album.
Produced by Hit-Boy, Mike Dean, DJ Premier, Cash Jones and Big Duke, “Eazy” samples Eazy-E’s 1988 classic “Eazy-Duz-It.”
As for Fivio Foreign, “City Of Gods” officially kicks off the album rollout for B.I.B.L.E., which is executive produced by Kanye West. The album follows cameos on Kanye West’s Donda, Nas‘ King’s Disease and Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes as well as the Lil Tjay and Polo G collaboration “Headshot.” The project is scheduled to arrive on March 25.
