Security was forced to flex their muscle not even 60 minutes into the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia Verzuz battle at The Hollywood Palladium on Thursday night (December 2).
As both legendary groups performed their respective hits, suddenly chaos erupted and dozens of people stormed the stage. The conflict appeared to arise when Bizzy Bone accused Three 6 Mafia affiliate Crunchy Black of mocking him while he performed.
“Hey yo hey to before we even get started you ugly muthafuckas ain’t finna to be mocking me while I’m on muthafuckin’ stage,” he says. “OK straight the fuck up, and Gangsta Boo …”
From there, Bizzy chucks a bottle toward her and Crunchy Black and Juicy J come rushing at him.
Gangsta Boo then snaps, “Bizzy Bone, you a hater! You must not have taken your pills! What the fuck wrong with you bitch ass n-gga!?” That’s when everyone starts fighting and Bone Thugs’ longtime manager and friend Steve Lobel hops in the middle.
Boo is heard adding, “Bizzy Bone needs to take his medicine!”
Shortly after the melee, Bizzy Bone disappears backstage. In a video captured by HipHopDX, Layzie Bone says, “I love Crunchy Black, I love them n-ggas. I don’t what the fuck just happened, but on the world stage, I love you n-gga.” Crunchy Black then shouts back, “I love you too n-gga. It’s all love.”

As tempers cooled down, Bizzy eventually returned and apologized for his actions. Another clip shows Bizzy hugging Juicy J and giving him daps as he says, “I wanna apologize to everybody the fuck out there — on both sides. I’m not trying to fuck this shit up. Pardon me. Let’s keep the muthafuckin’ party going.”

Gansta Boo and layzie were being immature from the start, that’s why this esclated. It’s always like one from each side that starts something and than everybody is almost forced to fight. Verzuz should have been more aware of their history and already had security in the middle. Layzie shouldn’t be the spokesman for Bone he’s too immature, should have been Krayzie or Wish, And I bet Paul was getting irratiated with Gansta Boo as well. Overall a good battle once it cool down. Glad to see Chamillionaire, Lil Flip, Lil Jon and the other guest come out.
Do you watch Verzuz? They was keeping it light playing to the crowd. Bizzy just weird and couldn’t keep his emotions in check. If he melted down off that imagine how he would have reacted to what Gucci did. Or how Jadakiss did shit like took the bandana off Juelz head and threw it on the ground.
That’s basically what happens in a Verzuz battle. KRS was shit talking Kane, Jada shit talking Dipset. It is a “battle”.

Yeah, I used to kick it with members of Three 6 back in the early 90s but never liked their music. I was more of a Playa Fly and Playa G fan from the Memphis OGs. If you would have told me in 95 that they would have gone on to the bigger career, I would have laughed at you, but that shit is undeniable. Bone kind of fucked their careers up after they left Ruthless.

Nah. Three 6 has pretty much taken the whole industry in their direction. Atlanta’s whole scene in the mid 2000s was an off-chute of their crunk style, and this shit that passes for rap today has its roots in what they were doing in the 90s. Like I said, I knew a lot of those original members personally, and I never liked their music. However, I can’t deny that Three 6 has had a much greater impact and bigger career based on influence the last 25 years.
