Turk Gives First Post-Prison Interview, Speaks On Possible Cash Money Reunion

Turk was released last week after almost nine years in prison, putting his life back on track. Breaking his silence during an interview with New Orleans, Louisiana’s Q93, the former Cash Money artist said that he finished his autobiography in jail and is working on his screenplay. Additionally, he’s got some music in the works.

“First things first, getting my family straight. That go without being said,” he remarked. “I been working on the autobiography, I finished it. I’m about to get a deal for that, it’s called The AutoThugography of Turk. I got my double-CD out in ’10 while I was locked up, that’s called The AudioThugography of Turk. I also did a screen play as well called Reckless about my life, you know what I’m talking about? Just working like that, man.”

He also addressed a possible reunion with Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne. Though he hadn’t reconnected with the team, he said he was waiting on a call from Weezy to catch up.

“I’m waiting on that now. I’m about to get a call now, I’m waiting on him to hit me up to see what they’re talking about. But you already know, it’s in the air. We ain’t nothing final now, it’s just things in the air, you know what I’m talking about?”

    1. “I’m about to get a deal for that, it’s called The AutoThugography of Turk”

Without a doubt a NY Times Best Seller.

    2. Dude is fresh outta prison and the first thing on the agenda is releasing a Thugology book? This is wrong in so many ways, 1st off-none of his possible listeners read books so who is his “target audience”? Secondly, why would cash money want to deal with this dude, if history serves us well, he’ll probably come out sounding like shine. Dayum. He’ll be back in prison within 6 months, watch. It’s hard out here and especially for a convict. Cash money will ignore dude, we will never hear from him again.

      1. His target demo is learning how to read right now so that when the book hits shelves they’ll be able to enjoy every single word of Turk’s fascinating story.

    3. This boy trying to be slick like Soulja Slim, when Slim went back to No Limit, just so he could get paid. The whole time he was back on No Limit, he was telling everybody that he was doing it for money and he hated Master P. Percy ended up not paying him after the word got back…….lol

Hot Boy Turk trying run game on Birdman and Slim, but both of them are even smarter than Master P, so he has another thing coming.

      1. Yeah, I remember that interview in The Murder Dog Magazine back then. Actually it was 2 separate interviews in separate issues. They did Soulja’s interview first and then they did KLC’s interview.

P.S. them clowns talking about conspiracy about something Soulja and KLC said in an interview….lol.

    4. When Turk signed with Kenoe, he was dissing Cash Money and now he broke, so he want to go back to Cash Money.
