Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort & E-40’s Mt. Westmore Supergroup To Debut At Triller Fight Club Event

Triller has announced the lineup for their forthcoming 2021 Fight Club event – and it will include the live debut of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort and E-40’s Hip Hop supergroup, Mt. Westmore.

The four-hour Pay-Per-View affair will go down on April 17 and include performances from Doja Cat, Saweetie, Justin Bieber, The Black Keys, Diplo and Major Lazer. On Friday (March 19), Triller will release their PRBLM CHILD series to lead into the event, which will chronicle YouTuber Jake Paul’s training for the big fight against Ben Askren and feature appearances from Snoop, boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield and more.

In November 2020, Snoop made headlines for his hilarious commentary when he stepped in at the last minute to assist in Triller’s Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. fight (with a Nate Robinson versus Jake Paul undercard) after Lil Wayne had to unexpectedly cancel. Triller Fight Club is now a partnership between the social media platform and the West Coast legend, where he’s not only a co-owner but will help to pick both the fighters and musical acts for the events.

As for the supergroup, $hort announced the formation of Mt. Westmore in an interview with MC Serch in December 2020 which was first shared exclusively with HipHopDX and elaborated on it further during an interview on The Breakfast Club a few weeks later – though there wasn’t a name just yet.

“Long story short man, we made a lot of songs,” he said. “And it really definite of what it’s gonna be but it’s gonna be something — it’s just a lot of songs. There is no [group] name. We just some OGs; everybody got studios, and facilities and rap beats … it’s something like I feel we’re doing this for Hip Hop. And we I said that … you could be doing it for the bag. Nobody don’t need the bag!”

In an interview with DX last month, $hort and 40 Water revealed Dr. Dre will be the only feature on their forthcoming debut album.

“Dre is on there, man,” $hort confirmed. “He’s on there. Snoop got him on there. Dre is on there. That’s Snoop’s guy. That’s Ice Cube’s guy. They shot a big movie together. He’s on there. Ain’t no doubt about it. You don’t even got to ask him.”

    1. This is so crazy. But I can’t help but feel this a couple of years to late. Always felt that Ice Cube always rhymed with inferior cats ever since da lench mobb got benched. Seeing this level even in the late 90’s or early 2000’s would have been epic.

        1. Ice Cube is going to prison, for the Murders of Pac and Biggie, he trying to put in work like Pac now, lol, it’s over for cube! @icecube

      1. Ice Cube is a scared man right now, jumping around, like a fish in hot grease.
They ran from me, now 25 years later they form an out dated rap group, really?
