Talib Kweli To Preview “Prisoner Of Conscious” Songs On Live WYNC Stream

    Brooklyn, New York emcee Talib Kweli recently delayed his latest album, Prisoner Of Conscious by two weeks. Now releasing on May 7, the album (originally billed as Prisoner Of Consciousness), will feature Kendrick Lamar, Nelly, Curren$y and Busta Rhymes, among others.

    Tonight (April 24), Kweli will be performing at WNYC Radio’s Lower Manhattan Greene Space for the Soundcheck Live series. According to show producers, Talib will unveil some songs included on next month from Prisoner. While tickets are still available to locals, the affair can be heard on WNYC Soundcheck on terrestrial radio, as well as available for live video stream from their website.

    The show begins at 9pm EST, local time.

    UPDATE: The WYNC Soundcheck episode will air on terrestrial radio next week. The episode will be available on-demand beginning tomorrow (April 25).
