Richmond police have identified California rapper Tay Way as the victim of a drive-by shooting that took place on Friday afternoon (September 18). Tay Way, born Lamonta Butcher, was one of three injured in the shooting, but his injuries were the only that proved to be fatal.
The 29-year-old rapper posted his location on his Instagram Story just minutes prior to the shots being fired in his direction from a moving vehicle near a liquor store at 4th Street and MacDonald Avenue in Richmond.

Police are yet to make any arrests regarding Richmond’s 15th homicide of 2020 but are following “active leads,” according to a spokesperson. Butcher was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics. Friends and family gathered later Friday (September 18) to mourn the loss.
“He was a good man,” a childhood friend of Butcher’s told the East Bay Times. “Just because his music portrayed him different, he was [good], he watched the kids and everything, like, he was really so sweet.”
Tay Way’s most recent project release came over summer when he dropped his Rich City Host album in July. Outside of the studio, he was also a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan.

Trump stopped flights from China in JANUARY.
Joe Biden and other Democrats called Trump racist and xenophobic and demanded that the flights from China must continue.
Europe did not stop flights from China and in March Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Great Britain/UK were full of Covid and Trump stopped flights from Europe and Democrats complained that Trump is “abandoning our allies” and demanded the flights from Europe must continue.
When Trump said to Woodward in February and early March that he did NOT want to PANIC Americans there was no large amounts of Covid in USA and Dr. Fauci was still telling people to take cruises and Pelosi went to Chinatown amd told everyone to go there and Democrat Governor Cuomo in New York told people to go out to restaurants normally and ride the subway normally.
European travelers brought the Covid to USA and it was in USA unfortunately already when Trump stopped the flights from Europe.
This was not noticed because Obama/Biden administration had created a system where CDC makes all the tests and they originally made a faulty tests (99% of CDC staff donations have been to Democrats so it is full of Democrats put there during Obama’s 8 years because they are Democrats) and CDC did not make enough tests even when they fixed their early faulty tests so Trump moved the testing to Public/Private partnership and had several companies start making tests and this led to USA becoming the testing leader in the world and one company developing an instant test.
Democrats and Woodward and media are just mad at Trump because they want Joe Biden to win.
If Woodward had thought what Trump said was a scandal in February and early March he would have told it publicly THEN but he did NOT because the situation was such that Covid was not a huge problem in USA then.
Then after Covid started becoming a huge problem in late March New York Democrat governor Cuomo ORDERED nursing homes to take Covid patients and this led to whole nursing homes getting it and estimates are that 12,000 people died in New York alone because of this and Democrat governors in New Jersey, Michigan and Illinois had the same policy of FORCING nursing homes to take Covid patients.
Under 10,000 people have died from Covid alone according to CDC’s own stats and the rest had on average 2.6 co-morbidities like heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, lung problems, kidney failure etc and Covid was just the final straw that caused them to die when without it they would have lived a few months or few years more.
Joe Biden has promised to lockdown all of USA complately if an “expert” recommends it to him if he becomes president so Joe Biden would totally destroy the economy and people’s lives that Trump has tried to keep going with the 1200 dollar checks and 600 a week in extra federal unemployment beneftis on top of state unemployment benefits and the PPP loans to companies to keep their workers employed.
