Charron Explains Dissing Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Justin Bieber & Usher

Charron has dissed Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross and others in his new “B.E.T. Cypher Verse 2013” video.

Charron spoke with HipHopDX today (October 14) about the disses and explained the release.

“It was unfortunate that Kendrick Lamar [has] such a perfect multi-syllabic pattern,” Charron said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “[Kendrick Lamar] just rhymed well with Hendrix guitar. In retrospect, I should have made a punchline off of Kennedy’s car. I’m a fan of his music. The name drop was just for the sake of a great rhyme.”

Charron also addressed his disses aimed at Rick Ross, Usher and Justin Bieber.

“Rick Ross is a joke,” Charron said. “He’s the definition of a poser. The community attacked [battle rapper/former King of the Dot champion] Arcane for stealing rhymes [from Caustic]. This man stole an identity. Bieber is just a wreck. Future Lindsay Lohan on our hands. He was accused of spitting on his own fans. Those poor kids were probably drenched in Usher juice.”

Charron Praises Big Pun, Big L & Ol’ Dirty Bastard

In Charron’s video for “B.E.T. Cypher Verse 2013,” he also praises Big Pun, Big L and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. According to Charron, he was influenced by their releases, most significantly by Capital Punishment, The Big Picture and N***a Please respectively.

“I’m upset because I know with a longer lifespan, they would have topped these projects,” Charron said in his interview with HipHopDX. “They all have influences on my style, mostly on my wittiness. It’s impossible to even compete with their cadence. I actually came up with the ODB line while I was chilling with Ghostface on tour. After our first show in Montreal, he brought me on his tour bus and asked me to rap for him and Killah Priest. I freestyled for over 10 minutes and ended it off with that line. They both loved it.”

Charron Says He’s Yet To Hear From BET

Charron released the video as a result of being excluded from BET’s Hip Hop Awards cypher.

Charron says he has not heard back from the network regarding his exclusion.

“I have not,” Charron said. “Various news outlets have reached out and no one has received a statement.”

HipHopDX contacted BET October 2 and again today regarding this matter. BET has yet to respond.

Charron was supposed to appear on the BET Hip Hop Awards cyphers after winning a competition on BET’s “106 & Park.” However, the rapper was excluded from the filming of the cyphers.

During Charron’s appearance on “106 & Park,” host Bow Wow said the winner of that competition would earn a chance to be a part of the cypher. Charron won the competition.

On October 2, Charron spoke with HipHopDX about being excluded from the cypher despite winning the battle on “106 & Park.”

“I was avoided for months and given a response after the cypher was pre-filmed,” Charron said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “At the end of the day, I was denied of a prize we contractually agreed on.

“I have proof that I’ve emailed people I’ve been dealing with,” Charron added. “I made phone calls. I have records from June and earlier dates. They didn’t respond…They [later] told me they changed the format for this year, but if you look, there’s no format change. It’s the same as every year.”

    1. You can tell he’s a white boy from Canada that never grew up around African Americans, he’s not like a Paul Wall or a Robin Thicke he’s more like a Vanilla Ice or a Sean Hannity. LOL, the kinda clueless white kid from outside the states who will shout out bruthas from the 5% nation/NGE and be chanting lyrics about the true living God and the Yacub grafted Devil not knowing he’s dissing himself.

    2. These sad little kids will do anything for 15 minutes of fame. Calling Ross a poser when Charron’s whole persona is something even Macklemore wouldn’t touch.

      1. I think it’s smart to throw those names out because it will get the most attention on blogs where dudes like him are popular. Ross, Usher, & Beiber were at the awards and he didn’t get invited.

    3. Respect to Charron!!!! Dope lyrics, I think it was great to call out today’s rappers the way he did. Looking forward to hearing more from this cat. MUCH RESPECT!!!!

      1. I’m sure if you asked Dr. Dre about his past he wouldn’t lie about it or deny it. He’d be honest and upfront. He’s not ashamed of what he used to do to make money! He never searched a brothers crack!

    8. Hi my name is Charron and I’m Big fucking baby! WAh! Go grab a bib a pacifier you fucking faggot. You’ll ever make it in the game! Your highest paycheck will be that 5,000 from bet. You’re done! Fuck you!

    9. lmao who ever thinks this did can rap doesnt know music lmao calling out ppl who dont even do hip hop lol we all know ross is a fake ass studio gangster and kendrick lamar is a real g with real niggas behind him even if he acts like he aint from the hood and idk how bieber is the next lohan smoking pot is not a big thing i think 99% of the world have smoke pot atleast one time and idk why in the hell this nigga would diss usher lol plz next time you try to diss pll make sure your shit is actually good….

    10. lmao who ever thinks this dude can rap doesnt know music lmao calling out ppl who dont even do hip hop lol we all know ross is a fake ass studio gangster and kendrick lamar is a real g with real niggas behind him even if he acts like he aint from the hood and idk how bieber is the next lohan smoking pot is not a big thing i think 99% of the world have smoke pot atleast one time and idk why in the hell this nigga would diss usher lol plz next time you try to diss pll make sure your shit is actually good….

    11. Charron is one of the best battle rappers out there but his voice is terrible and so is his flow.

    12. Only seen this clip but from what i can tell hes a semi witty writer, horrible rapper. However if he infact won that spot he should get it. Dont have a fucking competition and make people waste their time and money for nothing. So..fuck BET for that move. For me the question is how the fuck he won at all…

    13. This kid is a prime example of how gay and corny modern day battle rap is. Back in the day you’d get booed of the stage for spitting a written, thats all these kids do though, sit around and spend all their time writing insult raps because its the only way they can be a part of the game. Back in the day Battle MC’s were showing off hoping to get noticed and start a real career. But nowadays, pre-written insult competitions are the roof, there never going anywhere else.

      1. They’re like acapella diss songs–with forced multis and gun talk. And 90% of these dudes are preppy white backpacker kids. LOLWUT? Battle rap is such an embarrassment now. It’s pathetic.
