Democratic Presidential Candidate Tom Steyer Performs ‘Back That Thang Up’ With Juvenile

As the stage continues to set for the 2020 Democratic presidential candidacy, the remaining politicians are pulling out all the stops in efforts they can face off against Donald Trump in November.

Even if it means piggybacking off Hip Hop in the most bizarre way possible.

Enter Democratic presidential candidate and billionaire Tom Steyer, who took the stage with Cash Money legend Juvenile during the South Carolina primary on Saturday (February 29).

Of the hundreds of songs in the Hot Boys’ catalog, it was “Back That Thang Up” — the clean version of the iconic hit “Back That Azz Up” — that propelled Steyer to the stage.

According to FOX News, DJ Jazzy Jeff and gospel royalty Yolanda Adams were also there. A sound issue reportedly left them unable to produce any more viral moments.

The random performance left many social media onlookers stunned and even prompted Meek Mill to label the spectacle “Culture Currency” when he retweeted HipHopDX’s clip of the video.

While speaking to CNN, the 62-year-old Steyer attempted to pass his rapping and twerking off as a watershed moment saying, “We are talking about really serious things here. We are talking about people who are working for inadequate wages and can’t live on it. People who are dying because the health care’s so bad. We’re talking about kids who aren’t getting the chance to get the chance to be educated about environmental injustice where people are being poisoned. About racial injustice that’s gone on for centuries.

“But let’s also remember that life can be really fun. And all I was doing last night was having a little fun. And I’d hate to think that the American political culture is so toxic … actually Juvenile is a really nice guy and he was teasing me to come up and show my moves and I was like, ‘O.K. baby, here we go!’ So that was just a little bit of fun and if the culture is so bad where you can’t have fun, I think something is wrong.”

Shortly after the interview aired, Juvenile officially endorsed Steyer on his Instagram account.

Along with Steyer, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar and Joe Biden are participating in Saturday’s primary.

    1. Nothing wrong with that, give white boy a pass, is your choice to vote for him or not. And fuck meek Mill. This fool haven’t done anything for no one to be a judge.

The white boy was having fun, if he is real or not is your choice to vote for him or not. As he said he is having fun. Simply

      1. They can do whatever they want, but they are super super super cheesy. The democrats have resorted to paying black celebrities to play at their rallies, in order to garner crowds. It’s cheesy in general to seek out celebrities for presidential campaigns, but hey, we’re not talking about winners here. We’re talking about people who will lose badly, and they will either learn from it, or become obsolete.

    2. I don’t support Trump, but all these jokes of Democratic candidates is making Trump’s re-election chances in November that much better.

    3. Democrats naively think that to beat Trump, they need to act childish, become trolls, and go low. They think they can “out Trump” Trump. But they obviously cannot. Trump didn’t just come on the scene doing immature things for shock value. He used shock value to make valid, common sense points, that speak to the working man and women. Democrats fail to understand that the answer to beating Trump, is taking this much more seriously, being more mature than everyone else, ect…. The party that sports Obama as their still favorite leader, really has not learned anything from Obama. I don’t like Obama. In fact, I hate the man. But I cannot deny his skill when it came to not ruffling any feathers. Obama worked hard to maintain his cool, and not give anyone any ammo against him. To me, he was a complete liar. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. But he was talented as leading the sheep.

        1. He’s right though. If u fail to understand your opposition, you will never be able to build your supporter base. As someone who supports Trump, and disliked Obama, I understand why Obama voters loved Obama. I get it. Problem with democrats, is they don’t understand why we like Trump. They just smear us a racist bigots, which isn’t true. I didn’t and don’t smear Obama voters, because again, I’ve learned to understand what makes them passionate about him. That is the reason why 1/4 Obama voters has voted for Trump now, and that number will increase in 2020 due to things Iike First Step Act which released thousands of black Americans from prison.

    4. Meek is such a clown. Why does he think Robert Kraft and those other white billionaires keep taking pics with him? It’s not because they love his music and it cant possibly be his personality.

    5. Tom Steyer is a billionaire. I bet Juvenile got paid very handsomely for his services later when he made love to Tom’s wife while Tom watched.

    6. This is like the time Hillary had Snoop on stage begging for votes for her like a good slave at an auction. Lol truth be told, and I don’t want to be a dick, but Snoop looked like he was being sold in an auction. Celebrities should stay out of campaigning; 9/10 times they end up making fools out of themselves. Steyer OUT!

    7. Tim Steyer spent over $500 million, and couldn’t even garner 10% of the primary vote in his own state hahaha. We are lucky honestly. Up until the past decade, money purchased popularity. It doesn’t work anymore! Spending the most cash doesn’t make you win now, and that is an amazing thing to see! Bloomberg has spent $400 million, and dude will be dropping out after he gets destroyed in Super Tuesday… Unless the DNC cheats like 2016 again, and hands Bloomberg or Biden the nomination wrongfully.

      1. He catered mostly to black people…In South Carolina…the first state to pull from the Union before the Civil War because they wanted the right to own slaves and they’re still very much racist…you know them white people wasn’t gonna let him win anything
