Feds Arrest Baltimore Rapper YGG Tay On Heroin & Cocaine Charges

Baltimore rapper YGG Tay has apparently found himself in some serious trouble. The rising rapper was reportedly arrested on heroin and cocaine charges earlier this week. The feds believe Tay was supplying drugs to the violent West Side “Trained To Go” crew.

According to The Baltimore Sun, the arrest occurred at an apartment in Cockeysville, Maryland.

Tay, whose real name is Davante Harrison, was taken into custody with roughly $9,300 in cash and a loaded .40 caliber Glock pistol that came with an extended magazine. Police also discovered eight grams of a white, unknown substance and 3.2 grams of heroin in Tay’s rental car.

Two associates of Tay — Christopher Jerry and fellow rapper YGG Dre — were also arrested on drug and weapon charges. Police found 40 grams of heroin, a scale, sifter and mixing bowl in Dre’s apartment. In Jerry’s apartment, police found an additional 488 grams of heroin, 40 grams of cocaine and 28 grams of crack cocaine.

Court records state federal agents cited the lyrics from Tay and Dre’s 2016 song, “Errday.” In the video, the duo flaunts their money and raps about riding down interstates and being on the block collecting their “knots,” a word the agent explained was a street term for a drug dealer’s roll of cash.

All three men are still in custody.

    1. Bet SnitchNine sang about him too. Hell, everybody is getting locked up while that fool is about to be released….the game is all messed up lol

      1. I know right! It would really suck if Baltimore had a future that wasn’t drug ridden with gangsters killing black people! Hopefully that doesn’t happen in Chicago either. I support those with illegal pistols, heroin, and coke! They make America great!

    2. What a sad clown has to pull a stunt like this just to get mentioned on a hiphop news site? Without this information ain’t nobody hear about dude before this stunt he probably pulled and got caught on purpose to get on the news. clown.
