LeBron James Dares Anyone To Tell Him Eminem’s “Kamikaze” Isn’t Fire

Feedback on Eminem’s new Kamikaze album has been pouring in since its stealth delivery on Thursday night (August 30). NBA superstar LeBron James is one particular fan who can’t get enough of the 13-track project.

On Friday (August 31), LeBron took to Twitter to tell the world just how much he loves the album.

“Now if y’all think this @Eminem ‘Kamikaze’ album isn’t [fire emojis] you’re just hating and incompetent of lyrics/cadence/breakdown of his raps,” he wrote. “Oh and he putting quite a few in a body bag too!”

In a since-deleted Instagram story, LeBron already had all the lyrics to “Fall” memorized and was mouthing the words to every bar.

However, LeBron did have one criticism.

“There’s only one thing I can say negative about Kamikaze and that is ‘Kamikaze’ and ‘Fall’ on the track list is misplaced.”

The night Kamikaze was released, the title track found Em spitting venom at Lil Pump, Lil Xan and Tyler The Creator, among others. But by the next morning, “Kamikaze” was a different track altogether and the venom-spitting track was now titled “Fall.”

There’s already been some controversy surrounding “Fall.” Many people attacked Em for using a homophobic slur aimed at the Odd Future vet in one of its lyrics. Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon, who contributed vocals to the track, expressed regret over his participation and said he was “gonna kill the track.”  [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

          1. While that’s true, on the other hand, he has put him self in a position that a lot of high school graduates would die to be in.

    1. Of course motherfucker..he uses bones flow on most of the album…why wouldnt it be fire..bone clones everywhere..goes for all u flipping the tounge

        1. He winning at the BANK my friend His Money Good win or lose only fans cry over wins and loses these guy laugh all the way to the bank this is big business

    2. A lot of people nitpicking and coming up with BS reasons why the album is bad. Look at negative reviews, so much BS from people who were always going to hate.

    3. Eminem wouldn’t have the gall to do a real Kamikaze. Killin people, body bags…all make believe. Wake up kids.

    4. I wish cats now knew there is more than one element to a dope album. Dope beats + garbage lyrics= trash. Reverse that dope rhymes + garbage beats = trash. Em fell into the latter in this one. The beats are so horrible i do not care at all what he says. And i been down with Em since day one but at this point id rather hear him murder someone else on their own beat (cause its, gonna be better than whatever Em picks) than sift thru an album with beats he picked. And because i really dont like to speak ill of people too much i wont mention Ems production. The great white hope now rests solely with Apathy and the Demigodz crew as far as im concerned

      1. Lmfao. Go to MMLP and tell me 2 good beats on there that don;t feature other rappers. Kill you is literally a beat put to a 1/12 to throw off anyone listening to it for the first time. Slim has and ALWAYS has been the hardest on beats that you wouldn’t even think twice to use if you didn’t hear anyone spitting on it. Lyricism has and will ALWAYS trump beats.

    5. Levron is so corny lip syncing eminem songs, like stfu you not a rapper and nobody wants to see your ass looking like you rapping cause you not, should stick to basketball and only post hinself rapping if he’s really rapping not acting, same goes to anyone posting social media lip syncing, you don’t look cool you look stupid and corny af

      1. Lyrics are fire. Beats aren’t. Verse delivery isn’t. Voice isn’t. Eminem just doesn’t make good sounding stuff these days. He just sounds like an annoying spazz.

    6. j Cole is the only one that comes close ! kxng Crooked next other than that step back nobody coming this hard for awhile kids !!!

    7. Huh? The beats on kamikaze are good. Not sure how you think otherwise. Makes no sense. Apathy is nice, but he’s not fucking with Em’s delivery and double entendre bars. Let’s be real most of Demi Godz is trash other than Apathy and Celph Titled.

      1. Man! If that’s weak then what’s not?! If you ain’t joking then it leads me to wonder why the hell you’re on a hip hop site?! Straight up garbage so called Rap shit been around for looong and the man puts out a straight up fire album thats just for the hungry fans of hip hop like me and includes 0% commercial radio shit and absolutely no marketing and you call it trash? Sad…

    8. I must say this album is one of his better ones in years. First of all the lyrics are great. He is doing is own flow and clowning everyone else’s flow while actually rhyming. This is not an album for the club’s or radio. So you won’t get those bulls*** club beats for partying. This is a throwback to substance and realness. He is daring the younger generation to do more than bob your heads. Make the music last.

    9. Maybe cause they haven’t done jack shit since Proof died? Only one was probably Mr Porter who kept grinding with production. He said it, he can’t carry them. They are grown ass men.

    10. Lol this Eminem album is already wayyyy overrated. His flow and voice are just too annoying these days. Sure, he’s extremely talented.

But it’s not Eminem anymore. It’s like a robot spitting verses, going for that tech 9ine speed.

Not my thing. Y’all are welcome to like it, but I’ll stick to Eminem BEFORE he got sober, because we all know that’s the only time he mad 10/10 rap that’s puts him in top 5.

      1. So if you don’t like this album because he’s sober and then like him when he’s high on Encore then something’s wrong with you! We all criticized his latest work especially Revival but this album is a fire with lyrics and beats combined and thats exactly what all hip hop fans need now with all the grabage that’s been out lately… this album is in top 3/4 albums of Eminem’s career and should be in atleast the top 20 hip hop albums of all time… respect your opinion but thats mine and I’m sure many will agree…

        1. Nothing wrong with me. It’s called an opinion. This isn’t anythibg legendary lol. His previous work in the day IS legendary. You REALLY wanna tell me that Eminems work these days is as good as his work in the early 2000s lol? Your welcome to your opinion., but Kamikaze ain’t comparable to any timeless tracks like Stan, Lose Yourself, Way I Am, ect….

        2. Kamikaze top 20 hiphop albums of all time lmfaooo. Wow. You must not be much of a hiphop head…. Albums Id put in top 20 would be. Illmatic, all eyez on me, Masta Aces Disposable Arts, Doggystyle, the chronic, GRODT, Documentary, GKMC might be close, mmlp, reasonable doubt, (I’ll get hate for this but Ven Vetti Vecci), ready to die, maybbbbeeee Red Light District or theater of mind…
……. These are potential top 20 albums

          1. Venni Vetti Vecci was a dope album from start to finish. Only Eminem albums that were good was his 1st 3.

            1. Agreed. I only really like his first 3. And yeah, Ja Rule is over hated haha. Ven vetti vecci is a sick album

          2. Man we got to respect opinions and all the albums you just mentioned are classics so keep going with the list and name the rest of the 20… all we hear is garbage in the past years and I’m glad to finally listen to an album that combines lyrics with production! Man the whole f’n 13 tracks of the album including skits is on the top 20 sellers!!! None of revivals tracks made it there! Real Rap just got released!!! And everyone needed it!

    11. Eminem needs to stop making tracks that have anything to do with women. Those cuts are the weakest on “Kamikaze”. It’s the achilles heel at this point on all of his recent albums. Stay away from chicks and just spit.

      1. It’s very nice too meet you Twista’s Mom. I’m proud of you for still categorizing your son with Marshall. See ya

    12. Yall are all up in your feelings if you think Kamikaze isn’t fire. No it probably isn’t as good as the first 3 Em albums. And those 3 albums are some of the greatest albums of all time. You really want to hate the new Jay because it’s not as good as Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint??? SMH. Not too mention… did yall really listen to Em early in his career? All I see is ish about Stan, The Way I Am, Lose Yourself and his biggest hits that crossed into pop. What about Infinite, 313, JDGAF, Role Model, If I Had, Kill You, Criminal, Marshall Mathers, Soldier, etc. What about the tracks that had Em as a feature and EVERYONE skipped right to the track with Marshall on it. If Em ain’t the GOAT, he’s top 5 DOA and deserves respect as such.

    13. Album is very good. Thankyou.
Now for the next one can we have a simlar album with some decent production from some of the greats you look up to Em?

Pete rock , Madlib , Dj permier?
