Instagram Flexin’: Cam’ron Has Custom Ebola Masks For Sale

According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, Iggy Azalea and Snoop Dogg have a social media war, Jay and Bey flourish at the Louvre, and Nas takes a trip down memory lane for Time Is Illmatic.

Killa Cam’ Is Selling Customized Ebola Masks

The Ebola crisis is real. But have no fear, Cam’ron has created customized Ebola masks to keep you safe. The Harlem rapper got in touch with his DIYl side, debuting the mask on his IG page. The mask has a snapshot of the rapper displayed right over the mouth. I wonder what other designs are available? He was also working on a line of capes with fashion guru Mark McNairy, but, you know, we feel like Ebola should come first. Caption: “Ebola is no joking matter.. So if u have to be safe.. Lupe Fiasco Strikes Back At His Label With “Lost In The Atlantic Ocean”

Lupe Fiasco posted on Instagram claiming the problems he is having with his record label Atlantic Records regarding the release of his next studio album. The post has since been deleted, but the caption stated that the record label would not release his album until they got a “pop” single. In the meantime, he is leaving fans with a mini-project called Lost In The Atlantic Ocean, and he recently gave us a snippet of one of the recording sessions on Instagram. How cool is it, by the way, that Instagram has now become rap-trailer-ville? Caption: “#HaileSelassie Soundtrakk & Nikki & Lu #LostInTheAtlantic”

Snoop Isn’t The Only One Iggy Azalea Fought With This Week

Iggy Azalea was recently caught on camera getting in to a heated fight with paparazzi while grocery shopping. She apparently lost her cool and attacked the photographer, and she flew to Instagram to humble-brag/clear her name. Though, Ebola is kind of a rough punishment for being bothered by a papparazzo, the chart-killer explained it this way: Caption: “Something is only “the way it is” for as long as one ALLOWS it to be. What I’m comfortable consenting a paparazzi do doesn’t require anyone’s opinion but my own. I don’t see why that’s hard for some to fathom. Judge me for spazzing if you like but you only saw the 30sec aftermath which was classy in comparison to what he said to us inside the grocery store where we discovered him lying on the floor after we had repeatedly & politely asked him to leave multiple locations during the course of the day. I don’t hate paps, just the really aggressive ones… I only treated him the way he treated me all day. Fair is fair playboys and girls. peace out. Ps. Someone in the hotel room above me is getting pounded I can hear it.”

Queen Bey Takes Private Tour Of the Louvre Museum

Beyonce recently embarked on a private tour of the Louvre in Paris, which she shared with hubby Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy. The most fun probably came when we saw Jay flexin’ on photographers Reasonable Doubt style, but Bey also took the opportunity to whip her fans into a frenzy with a single angelic snap. Sean Carter had one taken in front of the Mona Lisa because he’s into art, but Beyone´ took a selfie because she is art. There’s levels to this, folks.

One will be the imprint’s greatest hits and there’ll be one filled with new material. The post is a video of Em hiding the cover art, and then revealing it for a second to his millions of fans. The suspense!

Snoop Dogg Clowns On Iggy Azalea

Snoop definitely does not abide by the debatable “one post a day” rule on IG. Among his close to 30 posts a day, Snoop decided to post a meme of an albino woman claiming it was Iggy Azalea without make-up. Even if he meant no harm, Iggy did not take it lightly, as she blasted the legend for disrespecting her on Instagram while being nice to her face. The result was a 72-hour social media war for the ages. Nothing more can be said about the feud that hasn’t been said already, but at least we had our fun. No caption necessary.

DJ Mustard Wins Producer Of The Year At the BET Hip Hop Awards

It’s no surprise that DJ Mustard came out on top at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. Mustard rightfully walked away with four awards: Producer of the Year, MVP of the Year, DJ of the year, and Track of the Year (YG’s “My Hitta”). Evidence of his grind and hustle is shown in this IG post, taken AFTER the BET Awards ceremony. The post is a snapshot of him working in the studio with his new mentor Dr. Dre and his uncle DJ Tee. Caption: “I won producer of the year tonight … And still went and worked with a new mentor Dr Dre and the guy that’s taught me everything I kno my uncle @djtee1 …. 2 Chainz released the latest episode of the web series on GQ Magazine, which features suits that cost more than a car. Remy Ma And Papoose Rock The BET Cyphers

It’s the BET Hip Hop Awards time of year again, meaning… BET cyphers! This year, Remy Ma and Papoose take the spotlight, and the two alternate spitting about black love and shouting out the hottest couples in the game right now. The duo actually got married while Remy was still incarcerated, living proof that good dudes stay down, too. Caption: “#blacklove #hiphopawards”
