21 Savage has apparently been taking flying lessons for the past several months with dreams of piloting his own private plane one day. But first, he has to obtain his pilot’s license.
In a new video uploaded to Savage’s Instagram account on Monday (October 23), the Issa rapper can be seen sitting in the cockpit alongside an instructor as he lands his first flight on his own.
The caption (of the now-deleted post) read simply, “First Flight.”
According to video obtained by TMZ, girlfriend Amber Rose was in the backseat of the private plane next to Savage’s best friend, Shy D.
Rose documented the take-off and can be heard saying, “My baby is flying a plane right now. We’re about to take off. So nervous.”
As he begins down the runway, his phone rings and Rose says, “Give me your phone, babe.” She then squeals, “Oh my god!” before saying, “I’m hanging up y’all. Bye.”
Savage was practicing an hour-long flight between Miami and the Florida Keys in a one-prop Cirrus SR20 airplane.
