Having just dropped his latest album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$, Joey Bada$$ isn’t content to sit on his laurels. He’s been engaging with fans, asking on Twitter what he can do differently to improve.
He took to Twitter Monday (May 1) to ask: “Talk to me guys. What do I need to improve on to become a better artist? Assuming the music is all good, what outside of the music should I improve on?”
In 16 hours, his (now-deleted) questions received more than 1,500 responses… which might lead someone to believe that Twitter’s collective answer was “a lot.”
Of course, a lot of the advice didn’t have much to do with changes that Joey could make to his own style or the way he promotes his music. One of the most popular responses was simply “Make a Kanye collab.” Even more popular was the suggestion that he make a song with Vince Staples, Chance the Rapper and Kendrick Lamar.
One sort of ironic tweet suggested that the key was… communication with fans, something Joey was already in the middle of doing.
There were also some heartwarming messages from fans who think that Joey is pretty much perfect as he is.
Either way, it looks like Joey was happy to get the advice, and he thanked all his fans in a separate tweet.
Better hooks. Dint need to be generic just less zzzzzzzzzzz
And he need some newer flows. I like when artists switch it up. I like his style on 1999 and his current one but i wish he would do more 1999ish songs. If you readin this. And a beast coast collabo project
Best advice is to never compare yourself to 2pac . Pac the goat
Retire and stick to Mr. Robot and tv shows or get in the lab and make up for that AABA atrocity.

YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO BE A GOOD ARTIST TO BECOME A BETTER ARTIST!!!! HE’S TRASH!!!!
Not ask fans on social media how to be a better artist. Be you, not what everybody else wants you to be. What a ridiculous ploy for acceptance. If Kendrick did this, he would’ve lost a fan immediately. Wack!
