      1. Every rapper in the industry pays for publicity. It’s called having a publicist, dummy. Which one of the Gz fucked you and never called?

      2. the dummys are the ones who are paying to get recognized. Thats whats wrong & fucked about the music industry today. Instead of just letting the music speak for itself. They wouldnt be able to do the things they do if they tried to let the music speak alone.
PAYING to be on a tour? PAYING to be on a website. VERY backwards. I guarantee every great, legendary artist never did such a thing. Even in todays music industry. Yall really think someone like Kendrick PAYS to get on shit like this? pleaseee..
Even if they didnt, League is like 15 white boys on stage at one time shouting like if we’re deaf.

& I’m a fan of Hip-Hop and happen to know people around the city. Ive never met the League nor do i care to. Im not an artist. Just an enthusiast. So no, they never called. Nor do they have a reason.

      3. its so unfortunate that you sound so salty and you’re not even a hip hop fan but on a hip hop site to comment about it. VERY backwards.

    1. second verse where he spells out “Dope Sells Itself” did for me. The beat got that classic dead presidents feel. I fux with this.

    2. Dead Prez has talked about the League in interviews before. They seem to know them well. I doubt they paid to get on tour with them. I don’t know either way. I do know that you have no idea how the music business works just by reading your comments. HiphopDX and XXL don’t have bribery departments. Rappers have publicists who build connections with these blogs and outlets, and they send them new single premieres. The loegz have a fanbase, so the benefit to hiphopDX is that they have the exclusive. So yes, the League publicist probably went thorugh the exact same process to get this song on here as Ice Cube or Trinidad james. You can call it “paying to get publicity”, but that’s just how music marketing works. You can get to a big enough point where these outlets will hunt your new music down, but I can gauruntee you that even Kendrick still has a publicity team doing this same exact thing right now for every new TDE single. Music doesn’t just magically find its way to fans.

Also, I dont understand how you claim to know their business dealings if you have never met them?
