With what’s goin’ on in my life at this moment, I can relate to this song 100%. I’ll admit, as the song started, I was disappointed. Disappointed that it wasn’t a Gambino “jam”. A more upbeat, faster, happier type of song. As I sat back and got into the groove of the guitar and started paying attention to the lyrics, it made me feel as though I had written the song. Spot on with what is going on with me. The song is good. Not something I wanna blast in my ride, but I like it. Gambino, Donald, whatever you would like to go by, if this really is you posting on Hiphopdx, just wanna say I’ve been a fan for a while. First from seeing you on Mystery Team, then Community, then I found out you wrote for 30 rock, which is pretty badass considering that show was hilarious, then I found out you were into music and was blown away by “Bonfire”. (I went back and listened to everything that came out before that too). By the way, Community sucks now without you. Boo…urns. Annnyways, keep up the good work man. I don’t do twitter, but I read up on you and right now you seem to come off as depressed. Keep ya head up man…keep doin what you love and enjoy life. Show your fans you’re happy.
