Freeway, who worked alongside Jay Z for years as a member of the Roc-A-Fella family, says there’s a chance that many former allies can reunite.
“It’s definitely a possibility,” Freeway said in a recent interview with Sway Calloway on Shade 45’s Sway In The Morning. “Me, myself, I’m trying to make it happen to the best of my abilities. So stay tuned.”
Freeway, who recently released Highway Robbery with The Jacka, added that the Roc reunion is being “talked about right now” and that he hopes all of the pieces fall in place.
Freeway has discussed his connection to Jay Z in the past. In November 2012, Freeway told HipHopDX’s Justin Hunte about Jigga.
“Niggas can say what they want about Jay, but Jay is good nigga,” he said at the time. “He gave everybody a shot. I remember he put [Young Chris] on the record with Pharrell. I can’t remember the record but it was a crazy record. I wanted to be on that joint. He gives everybody a shot. I remember I came in the studio and he was like, ‘I got something for you.’ I was like, ‘What?’ He was like, ‘I need you to get on this record for this Eminem movie soundtrack.’ I didn’t even see the movie. I didn’t know what it was about – 8 Mile. I just had to write a verse. I heard what Jay did and then I was going in.”

Ni99@ Please……….
Jay Z barley appear on J Coles records what make you believe he still want to work with yall washed up asses
This elitist attitude is what’s wrong with the culture…if Hov wants to prove he hasn’t sold out entirely, he’ll do it.
And that’s exasctly what’s wrong with our backwards-thinking culture. @Burmy: no disrespect intended, but why does he have to prove that he hasn’t sold out? Regardless of how much artists work together and all of that, these guys aren’t family and don’t owe each other anything. Everything was business first with them and it’s definitely business now. Not to dick-ride by Jay gotta wife, kids, alleged marital issues and an entire life that most likely doesn’t include these dudes in 2014.
Lastly, why does our culture try to keep us from progressing? There’s a difference between forgetting where you came from and simply moving on from what used to be. If I worked with someone 5-7 years ago, why am I selling out if I’ve moved on and just don’t want to do it?
@Why Tho’: that’s real, especially when the only reason the other dudes would even suggest a reunion is for their own finacial gain, which makes them just as much sellouts.
its only possible if jay-z wants to, cause he sure as shit dont need to
Sold Out Means your not helping me get money anymore…lol..sold out…jay built his own…how can a person not be motivated to do the same …fools waiting on someone else will be waiting for ever…be a leader not a follower …Dig

thats a dope list. obies albums on shady records were so dope. Pun is a legend. and Big Krit is dope too, beanie and freeway had dope albums and every feature verse theyve done in the past 3 years has been dope too
Why Big K.R.I.T.? He’s still hot and about to release sophmore album. It’s not like he was around 10 years ago. Other than that, i agree. I still bump Obie’s “Cheers”. That was dope ass album. I don’t fuck with Banner flow, but “Certified” was good. And if i may add – Slim Thug. His buzz was crazy 5,6 years ago.
if you really forgot they existed you wouldnt be making lists of them
