Jay Z and Beyonce are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Special Class Program, according to RapUp.
The duo is being recognized for its HBO television program “On The Run,” which highlights the tour of the same name.
Competing against the couple in the category at the 67th Emmy Awards are The Oscars, PBS’s “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Live From Lincoln Center),” the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards and the 68th Annual Tony Awards.
RapUp says that Beyonce has previously been nominated for her Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show performance.
Jay Z won a Sports Emmy in 2011 in the Outstanding Music Composition/Direction/Lyrics category for his performance of “Run This Town” at the opening of Super Bowl XLIV.
