Rick Ross was arrested yesterday (June 27) after his performance at Greensboro, North Carolina’s 102 Jamz’s Super Jam 2014 concert.
According to TMZ, Ross faces a charge of failing to appear in court stemming from a 2013 misdemeanor marijuana charge/arrest in Greensboro.
He was taken to the Greensboro Detention Center by police and subsequently posted the $1,000 bond placed on him.
This is the second time in as many weeks controversy has surrounded Rick Ross before or after a show performance.
Last week, the Maybach Music Group head was turned away at the door after more than 100 people wouldn’t let him perform at Detroit’s Summer Jamz concert.
They just had a pay check he forgot to collect.
In reality, many gangs and criminal organizations have people who play as Correctional Officers in jail to ensure the safety and well-being of well respected criminals serving time. While so many hate on Ross for the CO history, most real gangsters actually give him a lot of respect for playing this role.
