    26. cool track from Cole. hopefully this is the track that does it for him radio wise and chart wise because who dat or work out didnt. so far lost ones and how high are my favorite songs that i heard from the album. i think the labels are really pushing him to make pop songs. which is cool tho cause all the legends had them. i just hope he delivers a classic album. honestly i think the album Cole had last year was the one he wanted put out but the label felt it wasnt ready because no radio friendly tracks were on it. so he had to keep pushin it back til he found one. i think the original cole world album is different from the one that’s dropping 9/27. i could be wrong tho.

    33. J.Cole is by far my favorite upcomin’ rapper, but even I have to admit that this track and “Workout” are still technically not really commercial. He still hasn’t made that ONE hit that’ll do it for him. It’ll happen eventually…even though everything he’s done on his mixtapes has murdered these 2 potential album tracks I can still respect what he’s tryna do. It’s a business people need to stop bein’ closed minded. You want traditional J.Cole, wait until his album drops…BUY IT…and then I pretty sure you’ll be satisfied. When has he ever made a complete project that was anything less than amazing. Like Jay-Z, judge him based on his entire body of work not on how hot his singles are.

Plus, theres gonna be a lot of competition at the time he drops it. Only way you can be really successful now-a-days is if you put out not just one, but multiple hit singles, look at Wiz. Ironically, each one of his miztapes has built up to him becoming a rap god, but he seems to have lost his edge more and more with each release. Oh, an the thing about this track and work out, is their not pop sounding enough to get much radio play, yet they dont sound hard enough or have enough musicality to appeal to everyone else.     414. Cole’s debut is DAMN GOOD. Best mainstream rap album in awhile along with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

      He’s getting big so a lot of people are hating with little to back up their outlandish statements. It’s quite amusing.

      Cole is only going to keep progressing now that he’s got his feet wet with one album. He’s got the hang of it now.

      Also, Kendrick’s Section .80 isn’t better than Cole’s debut. Some songs on Section .80 are chores to listen to. Dude isn’t as well-rounded as Cole. What other rapper is putting out deep tracks like Lost Ones, Breakdown, Never Told…and then making catchy but still lyrical hits like Can’t Get Enough and In The Morning? Ya’ll can think he’s better because he’s not as mainstream, and it’s cool (and very easy) to hate on those who are bigger and getting more attention.
