Snootie Wild - "I Can't Help It"
Ace Clark f/ Nitty Scott - "What's Goin On?"
Mila J Takes On "Hotline Bling"
if he has good songs like this why was his album so not on the same level as his mixtapes
because mixtapes don't have to be approved by the label you dumbass
awesome joint ..couldve swithced up the instrumental and kept that ish for the album.. whole EP is crazy 'Truly Yours'
pretty dope. J Cole almost never fails to impress me.
oddisee like the underground j.cole
tame one better than j.cole
hiding place - little brother
album going to be to mainstream
career ended at friday night lights
Shit up b1tch what do you know?
His voice is so SEXY! ;)
i love this song ! ^.^
j . c o l e
Please get that album with Kendrick out soon!!!!!!!!!!!!
for naive ones..cole did not make this beat. credit goes to Lauryn Hill and company
ill wait for born sinner thanks
ep's and mixtapes are fucking pointless
A good mixtape actually builds anticipation as demonstrated with Wayne and the years people were waiting for Carter 3 because of all the mixtapes he put out people were fiening for his album, without mixtapes most of the good, lyrical artist who are not mainstream wouldn't be known or have much a career, only mainstream swag fag fans would discredit mixtapes, Mixtapes is a STAPLE OF HIP HOP and part of what makes it great, the new school fans are destroying the culture and everything great about hip hop, and that starts wih people like yall.
Yall are crazy, mixtapes built Lil Waynes career, look at him now with all his mainstream success, not that I am a fan of mainstream, but his drought 3 mixtapes and all the mixtapes around that time is what built him, 50 cent was built because of mixtapes if you can remember, Papoose, one of the illest lyricist and straight spittas you will ever hear built a whole career off mixtapes, Budded with his Mood Music series is flawless, classic hip hop music right there, Talib Kweli has some ill mixtapes, Diplomats when they were holding it down built success from mixtapes, you must not be to familiar with Hip Hop if you are saying mixtapes are pointless. Listen to Loose Quarter from Joe Budden, way way better then the album he put out. All that being said, the greats do make awesome albums of high quality music, like Jay's Blueprint Reasonable Doubt and Black Album, or Nas and Illmatic, Stillmatic, Untitled, Blackstar album, I can go on and on, but mixtapes have good material if you are listening to good rappers. Jay Coles mixtapes the warm up come up and friday night lights are better then anything he released, period, like the album but it can't compete with the warm up or come up.
It's 5 unmastered left over songs. Why not release em for free?? No harm done. Don't whine about it. He's giving us a new single this week for Born Sinner.
I totally agree, rappers should not release mixtapes as it can ruin a career. Plus it kills the anticipation that listeners have for an artist.
Although I think to release an independent album once in a while is good for the culture!
Lauryn Hill beat ma dudes!! The song called Zion,..it isnt Lowkeys beat!!!!..hm why dont you check it out!!!...
Anyways Cole is killing, taking you to a whole new level!!! Follow da kid!!
Well u got hiphoppers and pop fans!!.....from some comments u can see who real hip hop heads are!!..most of em pop!!!....still we got to school em!!!
This is WorldstarofHipHop.......not WorldstarofPop!!!!......Im just saying!!!.....peace God!!
'less of the glory yeller
more of a story teller'
deep heartfelt lyrics, real life relatable stories' real rap music, the real is back!, Born Sinner - on the way!!
Cole the best youngen to put out an EP this year and he gon kill the game with his sophomore LP
cole world no blanket
cole and kendrick are leagues ahead of everyone, shit is unfair mannnn
Kendrick is ridiculusly overrated and will eventually just emerge as another generic mainstream artist I already see it comming. To say Kendrick is in another league is really stating the critical condition hip hop is in, man do I miss the 90's and pre 2005 rap. There are cats still doing it, but the hip pop fans won't let them eat.
The beat isn't original. It was first used by British rapper Lowkey. The songs called dreamers and came out in 2011. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpe-DuJ6ZvM
why does it matter? its not like lauryn, cole or lowkey produced it. Coles story is 100
its not his beat it either. its Lauryn Hills. to zion
thank you cole!
J. Cole >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kendrick Lamar
As far as the New ear goes, Slaughterhouse is the only ones holding it down, the New Era of Hip Hop is just pop and Drake and company are straight trash and a liability to hip hop and it's survival right now. The underground cats are the only ones with talent now outside the greats still doing it, Diabolic and Prince EA are rappers on another level and would chew up any new era rapper including Cole(who I am a fan of) with a throw away verse, hip hop was about lyricism, dope delivery word play and a message, now dance swag fag I got money to make it rain sex music, it's ridiculous, people need a hip hop 101 class, Illmatic should be played on every hip hop radio station everyday to give a reminder of what it is.
DJ mattybee, what you mean nope, it aint even close, and i'm not happy about the direction Cole seems to be headed, but C mon man Kendrick is way overrated and Cole is just flat out better, Kendrick hopped on the mainstream swag fag train, and unfortunately so is Cole.
Imagine if Cole had the complete freedom Kendrick had on his big studio album.
Friday Night Lights+ a few Sideline Story tracks was supposed to be Cole's debut album. And that is > Good Kid Mad City
Once Born Sinner drops it'll be more clear that J. Cole>Kendrick Lamar>Big KRIT>Drake>
as far as the new era goes, Cole and Kendrick are the top MC's
COLE is TOO nice!! REAL SHIT HERE
Thats whatz J.COLE u get 5 stars out of me your new shit u are putting out are classics haters can say what they want but Cole none of the new rappers like drake, big sean, wale, etc have your poetics and lyrics u deliver in your music thus putting u in a league of your own face it haters drake aint got nothing on COLE and thats real talk and if what said hurts y'all haters feelings then so what I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!!!!
Killin the game
Bringing back a classic, to make another classic.
Never understood the interest people have with rappers that have huge ego's, love themselves sooo much, and constantly rap about how great they are and every1else is lame? J.Cole? 20somethin Rook, with zero Solid hits for da guys... Rapping ass Chris Brown wannabee... No wonder J sent him packin
Rap is usually all ego.
Do your research homie. He didn't get dropped. And why the hell wouldn't he rap with confidence? Cole is humble you just speak out of your ass.
Him and kendrick are on a whole new level on this rap game
was with Cole since day 1...He still got it
If u dont know, this is lauren Hills beat, from her multi platinum debut and that the song is called, Zion and... and you call yourself a hip hop fan, just kill yourself now.. That is all.
I have miseducation of lauryn hill but this comment is so ignorant. Some people started liking hip hop after that era, doesnt make them any less of fans.
I don't understand the hate for this dude all of a sudden. Weren't ya'll on his dick 2 years ago, calling him the "savior of hip hop"?
True True. Roc Nation Dying a slow death!!! Good Ridence to Garbage Pop Wanna Be RAPPERS!!!
YEA COLE IS BACK BITCHESS!!!! and it's only a matter of time before his BORN SINNER album gets a release date and is in stores OMG!!! A ROC NATION GROUPIE LIKE ME GETS TURNED ON to the power of GREATNESS that J.cole and all the rest of the Roc Nation team unleash into the music world so FUCK U HATERS JUST FACE FACTS THAT J.COLE IS THE SHIT AND THERE'S NOT A DAMN THING U CAN DO ABOUT SHIT! Oh wow... this is the same sample Lowkey used in his track 'Dreamers'
this song go hard
Cole bout to bring that raw on born sinner!! Love the story
that real ish!
Love the guitar strings, reminds me of the 2pac album R U Still Down.....its got a pac vibe to it...just my opinion.
Solid track, great beat.
My first song ever. Please let me know what you think.
each verse is a heartfelt plea/rant at different people in Cole's life or any other person who relates
"my story aint the only one i'm tryina tell"
"let these words be the pictures i'm jus painting my heart"
J. Cole #ColeWorld #BornSinner ... .still cooler than your average
releasing "Born Sinner's" first single later this week, J. Cole thanks us for waiting with an EP featuring four ne
Cole spittin that real.
Some of yall aint real rap fans. A lot of yall is posers....
Dope song tho.
#trulyyours #coleworld ...... dope ....nice beat too
zion yes cole world
Cole back it!!! BEAST - 5 Stars
Jay-Z never goes wrong when it comes to signing artists. J. Cole is dope and much better than those underground crap rappers.
haha yeah, he just didn't go wrong with signing this artist hahaha
Jay Z never gets it wrong when signing artists? Thats the biggest load of bs I've ever heard!
realest nigga in the game
the beat sucks. 2 Chainz, Wayne, Ross, Future have better beats.
Your mother should of swallowed just so you couldn't be born to make a statement so ignorant.
Don't even compare jcole to lil wayne 2 chainz ross and that other noise pollution.
this is a beat that lauryn hill used. her song about her son one her first album that won 5 grammys, yeah one of the best songs ever. the beat isn't original
pretty weak, lets hope the album is better
Only real self made new rapper. Jay doesn't gas this dude or give him big name d ck riding endorsments and he still go gold on a self produced album and no paid airplay. Real hip hop success
jack e and Anonymous: Idk. and i'm sorry to say this but both of these guys (and most of the new guys) have gained a lot of acknowledgment from the advantages of touring with Drake. J. Cole put Drake on "In The Morning" - That really did something for his career. ASAP did "Problems" with three of the hottest artist in the game. even kendrick and 2chainz has gained off the "Drake Advantage" J. Cole and ASAP were both on tour with Drake before they were known on the platform they are known on now. We might of knew em, but they wouldn't have done the numbers they did without that lil bit of help from Drake. (I'm not even that big a
Drake fam, but he does get his credit for helping this dudes out. "Thank Me Later" --get it?)
No...He's still signed to Roc Nation and most people know about him because of that. The only "self made" rapper is ASAP Rocky...He had no big name co-signs or mentors or none of that and he got a deal and is doing numbers by himself.
Lowkey did a remix of this, called Dreamers. Think that's better personally.
J in his own Lane I fuck with him.....a leader not a follower
decent 3 stars
his first single was that work out plan remix SnM
he's nothing like kanye -_______-
actually I listen to Solo Ho3... outkast k dot.. N.E.R.D.... you know.. good music. i try give this anye wannbe a chance n i personally think he is trash
Go listen to gucci and 2 chainz or something then fuck boy
j cole. really dig this kid, looking forward to the new album.
you're dumb as fuck if you don't notice he's telling a story in this song, every song isn't about bars & a hook. open your ears & getem wet to this real rap.
J Cole is always rapping on beats of artists who are superior to him. Nas,(old)Jay-Z now Lauryn Hill. These songs just don't sound right with his simplistic lyrics.
simplistic lyrics? please shoot yourself before i do......#coleworld
we need you back Ms Hill! classic beat
That's that "ZION" BEAT BY LAUREN HILL
Great track, pumped to give the full EP a solid listen.
Cole Fire Cole World, real life stories, real rap music. the 'Truly Yours' EP is purely dope ville mentality
Not bad J. hook could be better
