After a long and tedious road Bad Boys’ Da Band has emerged as one of the hottest new groups in hip-hop today. Group members Sara, Dylan, Young City, E Ness, Frederick and Babs have all shown that they deserve the chance to shine in the spotlight. Only time will tell if these band members are really built for the rap industry. The intro track off the album “To Hot For T.V.” entitled “My Life” is a graphic depiction of the lives of some of artists prior to becoming a member of the band. E Ness talks about a bad case of hemorrhoids while sitting in a jail cell, Frederick speaks about the usual share of drama while cooking up and ounce hustling it off. Sarah intensely sings on the hook as if she was born to do this, and by her latest endorsement with Estee Lauder and her latest layout in King magazine a lot of other people evidently think that Sarah was definitely destined to be a star.

After listening to the disc I’ve come to the conclusion that it really is just another average release by an average band. The first single “Bad Boy This Bad Boy That” is also pretty average. “I LikeYour Style” showcases the talents of most of the members in the group and comes off as a basic club joint but it’s still hot. Personally I believe one of the hottest songs on albums is the Bad Boys Soundtrack inspired “Why. The concept of fighting the evils in life, is a tight one, which faces many artists on a daily basis. Da Band spit about to how we must strive to overcome the obstacles in front of us if we plan to succeed, while kicking the devil’s ass.

Overall, for a first outing Da Band is not bad and I’m sure under the tutelage of Mister P Diddy himself we will see more greatness to come from these young artists.
