Young Thug‘s RICO trial has gone anything but smoothly since it began — most recently, a witness who took the stand was apparently under the influence.

On Tuesday (March 19), the defense called prosecution witness Adrian Bean for cross-examination. Amid their line of questioning, he candidly admitted to being high.

“I’m so high right now, y’all. I’m ’bout to go to sleep on y’all ass,” he said. “I ain’t gon’ tell a lie.”

Lead prosecutor D.A. Adriane Love then offered him a bottle of water, while Thug’s attorney Brian Steel asked if Bean needed a moment to get it together. Despite the condition he was in, he opted to keep going.

“Let’s keep the ball rolling,” Bean responded.

The moment, which was captured on the trial’s live stream, can be viewed below:

According to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, two attorneys got into an argument in court last week that got so tense to the point a sheriff’s deputy had to get involved.

In a clip from the livestream of day 42 of the trial, the judge told the pair to “take it down a notch” as they continued arguing, after which he specifically singled out Adriane Love.

“I know you’re being an advocate,” he said. “At some point, stop. Just stop. I made my ruling, good, bad, or indifferent to you. You’re gonna win some you’re gonna lose some.”

Later, when Thug’s lawyer referenced “the rants of DA Love,” the judge also reprimanded the room for laughing.

“I didn’t ask anyone to laugh in the gallery. This is a courtroom. Not some entertainment forum for you,” Judge Glanville said.

Drake previously called out the entire proceeding after a video of Young Thug in jail leaked a few months back.

Footage of a phone call between Thugga, who has been behind bars since May 2022, and his girlfriend Mariah The Scientist began making the rounds online in late January, following which Drizzy posted an angry comment online, slamming Judge Ural Glanville for failing to prevent the rapper’s privacy from being invaded.

“This gotta be some form of jail misconduct,” he wrote in a comment on Akademiks‘ Instagram post. “You gonna drag this talented man then not be able to control your employees using his personal business for their own gain?

“Somebody benefited from this video even existing and that’s shameful whole case is a wash just 3 the guy and let him come home and continue bringing light to Atlanta.”

The 6 God also posted a screenshot of his comment on his Instagram Stories, adding: “Shit is disgraceful… is this a criminal case or Atlanta social media promo Ural Glanville?”

Meek Mill also took to X/Twitter to voice his displeasure with the jail video leaking and wrote: “This a top tier lawsuit your personal call not suppose to be on the street!”
