Scarface has reminisced about the time 2Pac played a big prank on him after he smoked “L.A. chronic” for the first time.

During a recent performance on his Behind The Desk Experience Tour, the Geto Boys legend paid tribute to ‘Pac and remembered the late rapper blowing his high when he first arrived in Los Angeles.

“First time I got to California, I’m in L.A., smoking LA weed. We ain’t ever had no shit like this before,” he said. “I’m living in Burbank and recording the Untouchable album. It’s my first time getting high with some L.A. chronic.”

He continued: “The homeboy pull up on me, he got a black Hummer with a fucking siren and loudspeaker on it. I’m in my apartment in Burbank high as fuck for the first time ever, and they come up and they go, ‘Brad Jordan, we know you’re in there, come out with your hands up.’

“I’m on the couch like this and my motherfucking high says [does a walking away action]. He just blew my fucking high, man, and he wanted to go to the studio and record, right? He wanted me to ride in this Hummer with him.

“I’m not going anywhere with him because he does not have a driver’s license. And he can’t drive at all.”

Scarface then began performing his collaboration with 2Pac, “Smile,” which became the Houston rapper’s biggest hit when it was released in early 1997, a few months after ‘Pac was murdered.

Scarface has previously detailed the wild experience of touring with ‘Pac.

He told Sway in 2015: “He would always start fights. He used to go on before me. He would say, ‘Next motherfucker to throw something up here, I’ll give you $100 to beat his ass.’ He’d go back and get the bag from off the DJ stand and slide the glocks out and clear the goddamn arena out… I was so fucking mad at ‘Pac for three shows.”

Suge Knight also recently praised Scarface’s loyalty to 2Pac: “I wanna say this about ‘Pac, I wanna say this about Treach, I wanna say this about Scarface. These three young men, as artists and men, have a bond that we need to teach and people need to use their model.

“Face is gonna fuck with ‘Pac no matter what, that’s why I was joyful when we did that song with Face and Pac, ‘Smile.’”
