Reese LaFlare has clarified his comments regarding his relationship with Lil Uzi Vert following claims he was banned from Rolling Loud as a result of their feud.

The Atlanta rapper/producer cleared the air in NoJumper‘s comment section on Sunday (July 9) explaining that he and Uzi have put their feud behind them and they speak “all the time.”

“KEEP REAL ARTIST AND MUSICIANS PERFORMING,” he wrote. “I Speak for my Personal experiences. Sidenote I talk to Uzi all the time that’s my Dawg 4L.”

Lil Uzi Vert and Reese LaFlare’s feud dates back to 2016 when footage emerged of Uzi hurling insults in his direction while being held back by security at a festival.

The 35-year-old revealed in a 2018 interview with DJ Smallz that Young Thug — a mutual friend of both Uzi and Reese — played an integral role in squashing their beef.

“Basically Thug and Uzi’s manager Lakeshow — mainly Thug,” he said. “[Thug] was just like, ‘Y’all need to go God damn — y’all lame as hell. Y’all need to get that shit together. Cus that shit old and you be with me all the time Reese and then I hang with him.’

“You know, Thug a real n-gga. He’s like, ‘You can’t have two n-ggas — we all in the same clique — we all in YSL as family.’ And then you got two n-ggas if he around I don’t go around or if I’m around he don’t pull up. It needed to be stopped.”

Reese LaFlare took shots at IShowSpeed’s Rolling Loud Portugal performance over the weekend while referencing his disgust for allegedly being banned from the festival over his former Uzi beef.

“They put this N-gga on stage but Stopped having me perform at Rolling loud because me and Uzi had ‘Beef’ once upon a time ….. Hoe shit,” he wrote.

However, Speed’s massive YouTube following caught wind of Reese’s slight and went on to flood LaFlare’s replies.

“It’s not 2013 no more. you got on that ‘Diva’ wave and started to fall off. respectfully more N-ggas is checking for Speed than you. U gotta boss up, don’t complain,” one person responded on Twitter.

Reese LaFlare is still keeping busy on the music side as he joined forces with DJ Drama for the Diva Vol. 4 Gangsta Grillz.
