The moment comes shortly after Nelly spoiled Ashanti for her own birthday in October, blessing her with an icy chain to celebrate her turning 43.
In a video of the surprise, Ashanti could be seen entering a room full of friends, with her expression turning to disbelief when a jeweler laced her a chain and bust-down watch to match Nelly.

After long-running speculation about them rekindling their romance, Nelly confirmed that he and Ashanti are dating again during an appearance on Boss Moves with Rasheeda in September.
āYeah, we cool again,ā he said. āI think it surprised both of us. It wasnāt anything that I donāt think planned. I think we were both doing pretty much what we do. Sometimes being separate you understand one another more.
