LOS ANGELES, CA

Los Angeles songstress Jhené Aiko is prepared for legal war with her former manager, Joshua Williams (co-owner of Blue Alley Touring).

According to documents Jhené filed, which were obtained by The Blast, Williams falsely acted as the singer’s booking agent. The singer is in fact represented by ICM Partners, a well-known talent and literary agency.

Jhené claims that Williams used his misleading status as her booking agent to “raise the status and representation” of his various entertainment endeavors.

With her current ties to ICM, the Def Jam recording artist was allegedly worried that Williams’ false representation would be a possible indicator of a breach of her deal with ICM.

This doesn’t serve as the first time Jhené and her former manager have engaged in a legal battle.

Williams sued Jhené earlier this year for $53,000 she allegedly owed him for expenses and $16,000 in regular pay. But according to Jhené, the expenses were from hotels and services booked for Williams’ other clients.

Jhené Aiko is currently listed as a past client on the Blue Alley Touring website.
