MTV Lists "7 Surprises From Ab-Soul's 'These Days...'"

Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller and Diddy, who appear on "These Days..." are features on the list.

MTV has published a list of "7 Surprises From Ab-Soul’s These Days..."

The list includes the following "surprises," according to the publication: Joey Bada$$ Shows Up, Diddy Blesses Soulo (And Us) With Vintage Shit Talk, "Ab-Soul's Outro" Part 2, Mac Miller Is Secretly On The Album Three Times, The Beat Switches, He Uses The Migos Flow, And Turns Into A Battle Rapper.

When discussing its list item titled "Ab-Soul's Outro" Part 2, MTV says the following: "It’s actually called 'Kendrick Lamar’s Interlude.' But it’s definitely an extension of the above, which was a track on K. Dot’s Section.80...Kendrick delivers a monster verse [on These Days...]."

On June 23, HipHopDX published a list about These Days... The list features the following items: “Kendrick Lamar’s Interlude” Is Part 2 To Section.80’s “Ab-Soul Outro,” Puff Daddy Lends “Mo Money Mo Problems” Angle To These Days…, “Closure” Is A True Story, Rick Ross “Nevermind” Feature Secured Through Twitter, Ab-Soul Battles Daylyt On These Days…

In the editorial, HipHopDX's Editor-In-Chief Justin Hunte spoke about the album and how it compares with #controlsystem. "In comparison to his critically acclaimed #controlsystem, this album is infinitely more accessible," Hunte says. "There are a few connections to the previous project and the newest, however, one of which is that the album’s second cut, 'Tree Of Life' is a nod to #controlsystem album cover, for example. But holistically, Ab intended for this project to mirror life as he sees it through his legally blind eyes these days."

This dude is so overrated. He's not completely wack, but he's definitely not nice. Just 'cause he's a hipster doesn't make him interesting.

Yeah, both of his albums are wack. There are a few good bars here and there, but he just doesn't deliver what everybody expected him to do. Ab-Soul is the weak link of TDE.

      He's definitely underrated if anything.
