A.G. Gives Away His "Oasis" Album With O.C. For Free

The Giant gives away his Lord Finesse and Showbiz-produced LP with O.C. from 2009, and tells DX that it's "D.I.T.C. for life."

This evening, veteran Bronx, New York emcee A.G. a/k/a Andre The Giant announced that he is giving away his 2009 album Oasis for free download. The effort, a collaboration with him and fellow Diggin' In The Crates emcee O.C. was released last October on Nature Sounds Records, and featured production from Lord Finesse, Show a/k/a Showbiz and Statik Selektah.

Asked why he was giving away the album released digitally, CD and on vinyl before its first anniversary, A.G. told HipHopDX, "
"Because first of all, O.C. and A.G. have always been about the music first," said Andre. "More importantly, this album need to be heard at a time like this in Hip Hop...D.I.T.C. for life."

The emcee behind such hits as "Next Level" and "Soul Clap" is presently at work on an album with Sadat X.

A.G. LoL Can this nigga try flowing? WAIT! He a old ass nigga Wayne show this nigga how to make a track when you get back. I mean he nice lyrically but I put a track on and that's the only good thing from it shit... he wouldn't go plat if it was free from release.

@"I Know Hip Hop" ---- your name is a disgrace You must be fucking joking. "Old ass nigga"--yeah, you mean "pioneer", right?! And saying that A.G. can't flow is fucking ridiculous. I bet you've never even heard his classic jams or this recent record. "Oasis" was one of the best records of last year. "Keep It Going" was my anthem for like three months. Fucking love that record. THose of you who haven't heard it now have NO EXCUSE!!! Download that bitch!

    • I REALLY KNOW HIP HOP

yo DX you really let this comment live? how do you know hip hop and glorify lil wayne? you should change your name to i love commercial music. AG would flame lil wayne any day i can guarantee that. There sure is a commercial difference between the two but when it comes to real hip hop you cant compare. i was at taj for sadat x release party and i heard AG spit a freestyle and i was like WTF!!! "Show and AG are on that REAL NIGGA HALL OF FAME"!!!!! DITC FOR FUCKING LIFE!

  • wolfman

Word? Yo, O.C. Whats up with the next Solo? And when you gonna come correct with the Word...Life - Jewelz flow. Everyone's diggin back in time right now to the golden era -- Raekwon, Capone N Noreaga, and possibly AZ? Let's hear some of that magic you had from back in the day. If the formula works, don't change it.. Credit to Oasis, it had a couple jams...

man you mofo's. I went and bought this shit without a preview. Just on the strength of their history. It was not blazing, but not bad. Now you give that shit away for free. I could of downloaded that shit from the jump. Whatever! I support real Hip-hop regardless. If you want some real shit, go grab The Freeway/Jake One album. Front to back, that shit is DOPE!
