On Saturday March 29th 2014 A. Glaspie Marketing presents Block Party Los Angeles an experience that will unite, inspire, and celebrate the evolution of the hip-hop culture on the west coast. Show casing the new generation of hip-hop music, brands, and Los Angeles block party traditions. This is more than just a concert it’s an experience. The venue will be transformed into Los Angeles, to give the audience that old school block party feel. As the musical artist entertain, the crowd can enjoy food from some of city’s most notable food trucks, enjoy unique “street vendors” showcasing their products, and network with other hip-hop lovers.
Created, founded, and co-produced by Ashley Glaspie, of A. Glaspie Marketing, Block Party Los Angles was just a dream, and now her reality. As a lover of hip-hop culture and her savvy business mind she created a platform to help the unknown independent hip–hop artist, as well as unite the community. She noticed that though hip-hop culture has definitely made it’s way to the main stream, the new generation is lacking recognition. Block Party Los Angeles will serve as a platform for up and coming/independent talented artist, DJ's, and brands to present their work, skills and to spread awareness about the city based brands.
