Monday night’s (July 12)VH1’s Hip Hop Honors: All Hail To The Queen was supposed to recognize the female pioneers of the culture. Everyone from Lil Kim and Queen Latifah to even Missy Elliot were recognized for their hard and sometimes underappreciated work within Hip Hop.

When it was time for the Queen Bee to receive her honor and perform classics cuts, she brought out Rich Homie Quan came out to perform Biggie’s “Get Money” verse. Despite coming out iced up in a Coogi sweater and Tims, he forgot to bring the bars. Yup, Rich Homie joins Lupe Fiasco in artists who have attempted to pay homage to legendary rappers yet, failed to actually perform their verses well. And, social media noticed.
