"At the end of the day, shawty doing her own thing," he explained to The Kyle And Jackie O Show. "She on the road…It’s always gonna be love but I'm just gonna do me. I’m a grown man so I just gotta walk forward."
He added that he "can't really be focused on wifing someone that young."
"’ll just put it like this," he continued. "One thing I always want to do is never disrespect anybody or put nobody down. Brown is reportedly 24 years old and Rihanna is reportedly 25. The pair spent Brown's birthday weekend in different states, with Brown celebrating in Las Vegas, Nevada and Rihanna in Brooklyn, New York. Audio from this interview can be heard below.
Brown and Rihanna reunited last year. The pair originally separated after Brown assaulted Rihanna in 2009. In 2012, Rihanna spoke of their relationship, saying they will "probably" always love one another. "We love each other, and we probably always will," she clarified. "That's not something you can shut off if you've ever been in love."
