The producer associated with Tyga's 2012 hit "Rack City," along with Y.G.'s "I'm A Thug" has signed a new management deal. DJ Mustard, one the key figures of the so-called "Ratchet movement," has inked a deal with Roc Nation. HipHopWired reported the signing. "I'm excited to take my career to the next level with Roc Nation, and Jay Brown!" Mustard said in a statement to H.H.W. "Looking forward to working with Roc Nation artists."
The Roc Nation artist roster includes Timbaland, J. Cole, Jay Electronica and founder Jay-Z. The management represents the likes of Wale, DJ D-Nice and Mick Boogie, among others. The label and management company has recently begun representing athletes ranging from New York Yankees star Robinson Cano to WNBA star Skylar Diggins.
