I’ve been unfortunate to work at a store that played Florida Georgia Line. Shit like that might successful,but it’s pure garbage which the same can be said about about today’s mainstream hip-hop. No one is afraid that they’re putting out “quality music” far from it.
The real question is how much damage has hick hop done to the black community to even be debating this. Hip hop has become a poison in our culture and we’ve lost control of our voice. We need to regain that before we start telling other ppl whether or not they’re allowed to rap.

Minority’s are still fighting for equal rights, all you have to do is take a look around or ask any minority why they feel the way they do. while no rapper or dj has experienced segregation many of our grandparents and parents have and shared those stories with us. I would venture to think a person who was racist or stood by and did nothing seldom tells the tales of their racist acts to family and friends unless they feel that those actions won’t be viewed in a negative light
