Stoute had a lot of ideas for Nas but Nas couldn’t think outside of the box. He still had that Queensbridge mentality. Where as Jay was looking past Marcy. I’m a Nas fan but he should have his hands in a lot more than what he’s in now.
I understand what your saying but also have to keep in mind would he have been as good as he has if he was trying to do other things?? There are so many other rappers that we say man they could have gave more when it came to their music, nas is not one of those guys, I feel like he’s giving us his full potential. Of course you always want to see the people your like get involve with other projects and make money etc, but nas is so good as a rapper I would prefer him to just focus on that. Jay Z hasn’t had a good album since American Ganster, Nas albums continue to be really good including Hip Hop is Dead, The Nigga Album, Life is Good. Entertainment also is about being good at your craft but also having a good management team, most famous people now a days don’t even have a craft they just have a good management team or agency lol,
If not for Steve Stoute, Nas would have been just another lyrical artist that never tasted the limelight. I remember an interview where Steve Stoute spoke about how he went to look for Nas in the projects after Illmatic and how Jungle pulled a gun on him when he said he was looking for Nas.
Come on man, magna carta was an ill album, it showed how jay z can change flows with the best of em at that time, 2 chainz, lil wayne, future… that album was not his worse
The Company Man’s presentation really sucks. He tries to hard to tell a story or make stuff newsworthy. Everything ain’t that exciting. Just tell the story or get someone else to do it. Stop all that God damn smiling.
Funny how they all got want they wanted in the end, Steve Stoute made more money built business ships, Jay Z got rich and famous, doing a lot of business deals, Nas cameback in that Jay Z battle like Lebron did on the warriors, nas is considered the greatest and he just chilling out as usual not really looking for fame or attention.
Fuck all the dumbasses at Metacritic. King HOV’s catalog kills Nas’ any day of the week. Like he said on Versus “Your best shit ain’t better than my worst shit.” And Nas openly admitted to wanting to be broke covering it up by saying he “wanted to chill”. Fuck that! HOV had his eyes on the prize ever since he started. No laziness here. Nas will forever be broke.
Like King HOV said, “On the road to riches and diamond rings real niggaz do real things”. Nas just want to be lazy and broke. King HOV is the realest. Deal with that you fake Esco Nas and his Stans.
Are you an idiot? King HOV bigs up his brother whenever he uses a Biggie line. It’s perfectly okay. How about you get your head out of Nas’ ass for once?
Are you an idiot and mentally retarded? How are you going to say someone’s catalog is better then quote a lyric as being Jay Z’s sentiment when it was a Biggie lyric to begin with? WTF man, do you actually listen to Hip Hop past Jay Z? I swear every post you make trying to make Jay Z look superior to Nas always makes Jay look like an ass.
Are you trying to say Jay Z catalog is better than Nas because he reused so many of Biggies lyrics? Or did you realize that “King HOV” didn’t write that line?

I’m glad to see him invest in tech and film. He could’ve been the biggest thing we’ve ever seen.

You’re right, everyone else is wrong…

How are you going to say Jay Z’s catalog is better than Nas and use a line he ripped off from Biggie as a defense?

LOL! Hey clown! Actually… It was Biggie who said that. Like Nas said…”How much of Biggie’s rhymes is gonna come out your fat lips?”
