Freestyles can also be pre-written verses that are free of form with no structure or theme attached to it. In other words to show off skill, speed, dexterity, flow etc.

Nas and Em are the two greatest of all time I dont care what anyonw says. I would give the slight edge to nas but reality is their 2 differnet perspective rappers. Eminem raps about drugs and relates to more of a suburban style in his music. Nas is strictly hood and is often discriminated against because people cant follo his flow as easy as the more simpler rappers. Nas is uncut streets with detailed story telling and has been branching out since god son as he has been maturing as a artist since then. Only thing with em is that he feel he defintly fell from his prime as he has been maturing. On relapse he tried to go almost fully drug concept rap and faced the reality that its alot harder tp rap about drugs when your not constantly on them and with recovery he showed on some songs that he defintly still has the fire and the maturity (love the way you lie for maturity and cold wind blows for fire) but IMO i feel he just lost his touch on most of the album. With that being said he is still lightyears ahead of the whole rap game now besides a few exceptions.
If you know anything about lyrics or rapping or crafting lyrics, than you’ill know what Nas does is harder, He’s tellin a story direct, It’s harder to find cleverness while keeping to the message and point, Em is Rhyme Smithing Words Together With Out Of The Box Creativity, It Sounds Better, And Its Unorthodox Style Will Always Be Better To Some, But Nas’s Not Beatin Around The Bush, Telling It How It Is, with a exception of a few songs here and there, Will always be a style that others find better, If you listened to hip hop in the biggie and pac era, than you know that Nas was more worth the listen Because of his lyrical genius and keeping it 100% real. Nas and Em are the two greatest of all time I dont care what anyonw says. I would give the slight edge to nas but reality is their 2 differnet perspective rappers. Eminem raps about drugs and relates to more of a suburban style in his music. Nas is strictly hood and is often discriminated against because people cant follo his flow as easy as the more simpler rappers. Nas is uncut streets with detailed story telling and has been branching out since god son as he has been maturing as a artist since then. Only thing with em is that he feel he defintly fell from his prime as he has been maturing. On relapse he tried to go almost fully drug concept rap and faced the reality that its alot harder tp rap about drugs when your not constantly on them and with recovery he showed on some songs that he defintly still has the fire and the maturity (love the way you lie for maturity and cold wind blows for fire) but IMO i feel he just lost his touch on most of the album. With that being said he is still lightyears ahead of the whole rap game now besides a few exceptions.
