Kendrick Lamar kicked off the 2018 Grammy Awards in stunning fashion. Kung Fu Kenny performed a medley of DAMN. cuts in a bold and visually stunning performance billed as “a satire by Kendrick Lamar.”
U2 joined K. Dot on stage to assist with their collaboration “XXX.” in a setup reminiscent of Public Enemy’s S1W formations. Legendary comedian Dave Chappelle also participated, adding interjections of jokes and bewilderment from the overwhelming amount of Blackness being allowed on national TV.
